Deutsche Hochschulen sind als Lehreinrichtungen vermehrt der Kritik ausgesetzt. Die bildungspolitische Seite fordert, dass Qualit„tssicherung in Lehre und Forschung gew„hrt wird, um die Effizienz der Verwertbarkeit wissenschaftlicher Ergebnisse zu steigern, aber auch, dass die Studierenden in krzester Zeit auf die berufliche Praxis vorbereitet werden. Auch die Wirtschaft hat ihre Anforderungen in Bezug auf knftiges Personal h”her gestellt und fordert, sowohl aus Grnden des Wettbewerbs, als auch aus finanziellen Grnden, junge praxisnah ausgebildete und mit berfachlichen Qualifikationen versehene Absolventen, die sofort im Betrieb einsetzbar sind. Doch die Realit„t sieht derzeitig oft anders aus. Laut Umfragen glauben weder Hochschuldozenten, noch Bachelorstudenten an den schnellen šbergang ins Arbeitsleben. So entscheiden sich drei Viertel der Bachelorabsolventen dazu weiterzustudieren, anstatt in das Berufsleben einzusteigen. W„hrend des Studiums klagen h„ufig ber berfllte und praxisferne Lehrveranstaltungen. Seit der sogenannten ?Bolognareform?, beinhalten die Bachelorstudieng„nge zudem viel Lehrstoff, welcher in krzerer Zeit ?abgefertigt? werden muss. Diese Hochschulentwicklung erfordert ein grundlegendes Umdenken in der bisherigen studien- und situationsbezogenen Evaluations- und Bewertungspraxis. Neben der reinen Studienzufriedenheit, sollte auch die Studienmotivation von Studierenden in die Diskussionen miteinbezogen werden. Zunehmend werden Hochschulen zu ?Dienstleistern? und Studenten zu deren ?Kunden?. Deutsche Hochschulen befinden sich generell unter einem globalen Druck. In Verbindung hierzu ist auch zu erw„hnen, dass die finanziellen Mittel der Hochschule eingeschr„nkt werden k”nnen, wenn diese von der Anzahl immatrikulierter Studenten abh„ngen. Aus diesem Grund wird es fr Hochschulen immer wichtiger, die Meinungen und Wnsche ihrer Anspruchsgruppen, in dem Fall die der Studenten, zu kennen, um so in diesem schwierigen Wettbewerb zu bestehen und sich gegen andere Hochschulen zu behaupten. Einen Beitrag zu diesem spannenden, aber gleichzeitig auch „uáerst umfangreichen Thema versucht diese Studie zu leisten. Es wird empirisch untersucht, wie die gegenw„rtige Motivation der Studierenden im dualen BWL-Studiengang, einer ausgesuchten deutschen Hochschule, im Wintersemester 2010 / 11aussieht.

Ebenso hat die Wirtschaft ihre Anforderungen in Bezug auf künftiges Personal höher gestellt und fordert sowohl aus Wettbewerbs als auch finanziellen Gründen, junge praxisnah ausgebildete und mit überfachlichen Qualifikationen versehene Absolventen, die sofort im Betrieb einsetzbar sind. Doch die Realität sieht derzeitig oft anders aus. Sowohl Hochschuldozenten als auch Bachelorstudenten glauben laut Umfragen nicht an einen schnellen Übergang vom abgeschlossenen Bachelorstudium ins Arbeitsleben. So beschließen drei Viertel der Bachelorabsolventen, lieber weiterzustudieren als ins Berufsleben zu gehen. Darüber hinaus klagen Studenten während des Studiums häufig über überfüllte und praxisferne Lehrveranstaltungen. Die Bachelorstudiengänge beinhalten nun zudem viel Lehrstoff, welcher in kürzerer Zeit "abgefertigt" werden muss......Weitere Defizite an den augenscheinlich überforderten Hochschulen werden durch durchschnittlich hohe Studiumabbruchquoten bestätigt.
