Scripture testifies that in the work of Jesus Christ the power of Satan, sin, and death has been broken. Yet on and on the ages roll, and wars rage, humans destroy one another and themselves, and natural evils such as earthquakes and tsunamis occur. We seem to suffer what J. H. Bavinck calls "the great delay," still awaiting Christ's final victory. In this illuminating survey of the book of Revelation, Bavinck examines the status of the church and the world in the times of the end but before the "final finish." Bavinck suggests the church is based on its mission to show the way of God and share his good news in the world. This mission occurs in a world claimed by Christ's victory, but still marked by the demonic and human hubris. Revelation is a literature that discloses the church's perennial challenges in a time claimed and won by Christ, yet still resistant to his lordship. The book peels back the veil to expose a battle not only on earth, but in the heavens, and assures the sometimes faltering church that it is not forgotten and Christ's victory is certain. Bavinck centers his account of Revelation in its chapter 12, the strange woman who is crowned and yet haunted and hunted, driven to the edge of civilization. He sees in this woman, the bearer of a child, a figure of the church that bears its child and Lord, Jesus Christ. Like the woman, the church in these times between the times, is both crowned as God's royalty and often scorned by the world.

LET THE AGES ROLL is a Bible-based book which expounds the truths in God's Word about longevity, health, and prosperity. God's Word has much to say about His will to lengthen your days, to give you health, and to provide the resources for living and giving. In Part Two of this book, the marriage of the author, and his wife Anna plays a very vital roll. They each lost their spouse in 2007. Many years had passed without seeing each other, even though the couples had been long-time friends. After a brief courtship Nolan and Anna were married in 2008. The happiness that came into their life has had a major influence on Part Two of LET THE AGES ROLL. The author calls attention to scriptures that encourage seniors to make good choices when facing life alone in their 'golden years'. God said, "It is not good that man should live alone" (King James Version). In LET THE AGES ROLL, Nolan addresses the purpose of grief and gives Biblical evidence that grief is meant to be temporary, not permanent. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. It is the author's desire that people love life and live it to the fullest.

In "The Complete Illuminated Books of William Blake," the reader is invited into a transcendent realm where poetry and visual art coalesce in a unique and revolutionary manner. Blake's work embodies the spirit of Romanticism, challenging the rigid confines of Neoclassical aesthetics by infusing his texts with mystical and visionary elements. Each illuminated page showcases his intricate engravings, which complement the veiled meanings embedded in his poetry. Organized thematically and chronologically, this collection includes his iconic works such as "Songs of Innocence and of Experience" and "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell," offering insights into the dualities of existence and the nature of the human soul amidst the tumult of societal change in late 18th-century England. William Blake was not only a poet but also a painter, printmaker, and engraver, whose life (1757-1827) was marked by a profound sense of spiritual and social rebellion. His dissociation from the mainstream art and literary circles of his time, coupled with his deep engagement with mysticism and biblical themes, profoundly influenced his creative process. Blake's vision was fueled by his belief in the transformative power of art and his quest to convey universal truths through his imaginative symbolism. This masterful collection is essential for any reader seeking to grasp the depth of Blake'Äôs artistic genius and philosophical inquiry. Whether you are a long-time admirer of Blake's work or encountering it for the first time, this unabridged edition, complete with original illustrations, serves as an invaluable resource for understanding the beauty and complexity of his legacy.

'To see a World in a Grain of Sand 'And a Heaven in a Wild Flower Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour' William Blake wrote some of the most moving and memorable verse in the English language. Deeply committed to visionary and imaginative experience, yet also fiercely engaged with the turbulent politics of his era, he is now recognised as a major contributor to the Romantic Movement. This edition presents Blake's poems in their literary categories and genres to which they belong: his much-loved lyrics, ballads, comic and satirical verse, descriptive and discursive poems, verse epistles, and, finally, his remarkable 'prophetic' poems, including the whole of his two diffuse epics, Milton and Jerusalem. Blake's poetry is intellectually challenging as well as formally inventive, and this edition has a substantial critical introduction which places his ideas in the contemporary context of the Enlightenment and the artistic reaction against its key assumptions.
