In Zeiten der Globalisierung nehmen interkulturelle Kontakte im Theater zu und sie wirken sich auf Produktionsprozesse und Ästhetik aus. Dabei wird nicht nur die ästhetische und performative Beschaffenheit der Inszenierungen und Theatertexte in den Blick genommen, sondern diese werden auch unter anthropologischen und politischen Aspekten betrachtet.

Der Schwerpunkt von Titanic II lag in der Vorstellung des SEED-Konzepts. SEED steht dabei für "Secure-Base Earth Equilibrium Development" und ist als Entwurf einer Architektur einer zukunftsfähigen (Welt-)Gesellschaft zu verstehen.
