Seit der Entstehung von Arbeitskräfteüberlassung in Österreich in den 70er Jahren wird diese prekäre Beschäftigungsform vermehrt diskutiert und hat besonders in den letzten zehn Jahren in vielen Wirtschaftsbereichen immer mehr an Bedeutung gewonnen. Dennoch besteht in einigen Gebieten Forschungsbedarf. Gerade im Tourismus, insbesondere in der Hotellerie, spielt der Einsatz von Zeitarbeitskräften eine immer größere Rolle. Es handelt sich dabei um eine Beschäftigungsform, die die Flexibilitätsbedürfnisse der Wirtschaft ideal zu erfüllen scheint und immer häufiger als strategisches Element der Personalpolitik in Anspruch genommen wird. In dieser Arbeit werden die Grundlagen von Arbeitskräfteüberlassung erläutert und die betrieblichen Vor- und Nachteile dieser Beschäftigungsform mit einer empirischen Untersuchung analysiert.
