Las obras que forman parte de Arquitectura Moderna en Misiones (1953-1964) constituyen un aporte significativo desde varios puntos de vista. Desde lo histórico, son un resultado directo de la Provincialización en 1953; desde lo territorial-urbano, forman parte de un operativo integral único en el contexto nacional; desde lo arquitectónico, constituyen buenos ejemplos de adaptación a las particularidades del sitio, como así también por el prestigio de sus autores (Clorindo Testa, Mario Soto, Raúl Rivarola). Es necesaria la incorporación del conjunto de obras al acervo patrimonial de la provincia, como así también las acciones pertinentes para su conservación. Los edificios son parte fundamental de la historia y la identidad de las comunidades a las que pertenecen (Bonpland, Oberá, Apóstoles, Eldorado, El Soberbio, El Alcázar, entre otras), cumpliendo una función vital en sus comienzos y transformándose en polos de desarrollo.
