La Tunisie est un pays imprégné par la culture amazighe. Cela est visible à travers ses créations artisanales telles que le tapis. Un patrimoine culturel précieux qui est ainsi protégé par de nombreuses structures étatiques telles que l'Office National de l'Artisanat et Le Centre Technique de Création, d'Innovation et d'Encadrement dans le Secteur du Tapis et de Tissage. Tant d'organismes qui militeraient dans la conservation de ce patrimoine aujourd'hui retrouvé dans différentes disciplines. Dès lors, le tissage amazigh devient un support associé aux secteurs de l'artisanat traditionnel, du design et de l'art contemporain. Le phénomène de diffusion de ce savoir-faire semble être une pratique stratégique adoptée par les structures étatiques pour valoriser et conserver ce legs. Cette politique nous invite à soulever des questions qui sont les suivantes : L'Etat tunisien est-il parvenu à la conservation du patrimoine des tapis amazigh ? A contrario, dans quelle mesure l'évolution de la société tunisienne a-t-elle influencé les expressions esthétiques du tapis amazigh et comment cette évolution technique et esthétique a-t-elle engendré une transmutation du signe amazigh ? Pour répondre à cette question, dans un premier chapitre, nous nous sommes intéressées aux structures précédemment évoquées et à leurs stratégies. Dans les chapitres suivants, nous nous sommes penchées sur l'étude de la poïétique, l'esthétique et la sémiotique des tapis amazighs produits dans les trois contextes. Étude comparative qui nous permet d'évaluer l'efficacité de la stratégie adoptée.
