Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Sachunterricht, Heimatkunde, Note: 1,7, Freie Universität Berlin, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit möchte aufzeigen, wie viel Potential im Sachunterricht der Grundschule verwirklicht werden kann. Sie konzentriert sich auf zwei wesentliche – für den Sachunterricht unentbehrliche – Dimensionen: zum einen wird die räumliche Dimension im Rahmen dieser Arbeit behandelt und zum anderen die inhaltliche. Angestrebtes Ziel wird mitunter sein, dafür zu plädieren, dass diese beiden Dimensionen miteinander vernetzt werden können bzw. vernetzt werden sollten. Können die Schüler durch das Zusammenwirken der Dimensionen mehr Motivation zum Lernen erhalten? Wenn die Lernorte (räumliche Dimension) und Inhalte (inhaltliche Dimension) im Sachunterricht gut miteinander funktionieren, sie in einem System verknüpft und realisiert werden, ist eine eventuelle Abschaffung bzw. Kürzung des Faches überhaupt zu verantworten? Sind alle Themen für den Sachunterricht überhaupt geeignet bzw. kindgerecht? Gibt es Thematisierungen wie beispielsweise Holocaust, Krieg oder Nationalsozialismus, die in der Grundschule nicht auftauchen sollten? Muss der Sachunterricht lediglich in der Schule unterrichtet werden oder bietet sich das Aufsuchen neuer Lernorte für nachhaltiges Lernen besonders gut an? Worin liegen die Vorteile einer Vernetzung verschiedener Lernorte und neuer Themen? Die vorliegende Arbeit möchte sich zum Ziel setzen diese Fragen zu beantworten. Zunächst werden die außerschulischen Lernorte in Betracht gezogen. Die bekannten Lernorte außerhalb der Institution Schule, die eine traditionelle Daseinsberechtigung genießen, werden neuen, wenig(er) bekannten Lernorten gegenübergestellt. Anschließend wird ein Überblick der Themenvielfalt des Sachunterrichts geboten. Ob von Vielfalt die Rede sein darf, ist zunächst fraglich, da vorab untersucht werden muss, inwieweit „neue Themen“ den Alltag an Grundschulen prägen. Weiterhin soll untersucht werden, ob „neue Themen“ ihre Legitimation besitzen. In diesem Zusammenhang taucht die Frage auf, ob sie im Sachunterricht thematisiert werden. Schließlich soll der Fokus auf die Zusammengehörigkeit der räumlichen und inhaltlichen Dimension gelegt werden. Überlegungen, inwieweit ihre Vernetzung elementar ist und den Sachunterricht der Grundschule bereichern könnte, werden angestellt.

The question of the meaning of categorical education and the function of didactic analysis will also be explored. Before theories and models of didactics can be explained and contexts understood, a basic understanding of what didactics is in the first place and which factors play a role here must first be established. The question of the meaning of didactics is not easy to answer. The word has its origins in the Greek "didáskein", which translates as "to teach" and "to instruct" or "to learn" and "to be taught". Already here it becomes clear that two elementary processes are interrelated and complement each other, which has not changed until today. Thus didactics is "the theory and practice of learning and teaching". The focus is on the interaction between teachers and learners. Didactics should therefore be a support for mutual interaction between teachers and learners. It is a science of action that is intended to provide teachers with a practice-oriented way of acting. During the 20th century, educationalists such as Erich Weniger, Paul Heimann and especially Wolfgang Klafki (born 1927), who is considered the "father" of didactics, tried to narrow down and define the term in order to finally develop educational theoretical foundations and didactic theories and models.
