Les hommes et les femmes demeurent étroitement tributaires, pour la survie de leur espèce, de la conjonction charnelle des deux sexes. Ce retour aux sources permet à l'auteur de poursuivre la démarche de ses ouvrages précédents. Il peut ainsi démontrer l'inanité de tant de conceptions extra-scientifiques, métaphysiques, psychanalytiques, philosophiques voire socio-politiques, qui ont tellement obéré la juste compréhension comme l'épanouissement vécu de notre condition sexuée. Il indique enfin selon quels critères on doit, poursuivant la libéralisation des mœurs sexuelles née au XXe siècle, préserver sinon faire encore fructifier le legs transmis par nos aïeux.
