Namun, cinta adalah sesuatu yang jauh lebih dalam dari pada samudera, jauh lebih tinggi dari pada angkasa dan jauh lebih lembut dari pada sehelai kain sutra. Cinta linta menurut pandangan umum adalah aktivitas dua insan yang tengah memadu kasih. Sepasang pasangan yang tengah dimabuk cinta ataupun dua individu yang saling memendam perasaan yang kemudian berkeinginan untuk mengutarakan isi hati. Saat kita membicarakan tentang cinta, yang terpikirkan oleh kebanyakan orang adalah tentang seseorang yang tertuju kepada aktivitas sebuah hubungan sepasang kekasih, rasa kasih sayang orang tua kepada anak, dan relasi antara Tuhan dan hamba-Nya. Akan tetapi, yang paling dominan adalah cinta antara sepasang dua insan kekasih. Cinta adalah bahan bakar kehidupan itu sendiri, cinta adalah mekarnya bunga dari kuncup penantiannya, cinta adalah terbitnya fajar di ufuk timur. Cinta adalah lambang kehancuran suatu kekuasaan tirani dan masih banyak lagi, bahkan Tuhan menciptakan alam semesta ini tidak lain karena wujud cinta kepada hamba-hambanya. Dengan kehidupan manusia, yang sepanjang hayatnya juga selalu lekat bersinggungan dengan aktivitas cinta, seperti sejarah sejak Adam dan Hawa berada di surga hingga suatu zaman yang identik dengan modernitas-cinta selalu mengitari kehidupan manusia. Tentang kehadiran cinta, yang orang kebanyakan pahami adalah dari mata turun ke hati-menjadi cinta. Di dalam Falsafah Jawa juga tertera Witing Tresno Jalaran Seko Kulino atau cinta yang tumbuh/datang dari suatu kebiasaan. Mungkin bisa disebabkan dari kelebihan-kelebihan fisik, seperti memiliki paras yang cantik, wajah yang ganteng, good looking sampai maaf, body, atau lekuk tubuh yang menggairahkan untuk sekadar dipamerkan atau mungkin yaa, anu sih1. Huft. People come and go atau konsep 'datang dan pergi' juga menjadi semacam siklus alamiah perih-manis dalam menjalin hubungan yang sering dirasakan oleh setiap orang. Seperti datang dan perginya cinta, datang dan perginya sahabat, orang-orang terkasih di dalam hidup kita-ataupun tentang masalah yang silih berganti 2 yang kemudian menjadi pengalaman tak terlupakan. Tanpa adanya hal-hal tersebut, rasa-rasanya hidup tak akan sebegitu menarik ini.
