Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2024 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Beziehungen und Familie, Note: 1,3, Evangelische Hochschule Rheinland-Westfalen-Lippe, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Hausarbeit widmet sich der Analyse und Reflexion geschlechtsspezifischer Rollenbilder sowie deren Verknüpfung mit dem Thema Gewalt. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, einen Einblick in die Thematik mit besonderem Blick auf die Rollentheorie und die Begriffe "Gender" und "Geschlecht" zu gewähren und diese in den Kontext der sogenannten häuslichen Gewalt zu setzen, um die Entstehung und Stabilisierung ebendieser zu erklären. Die Relevanz des Themas ergibt sich aus der Vielzahl an betroffenen Frauen; belegt unter anderem durch den Lagebericht 2022 zur häuslichen Gewalt, herausgegeben vom Bundeskriminalamt: In jeder Stunde werden (allein in Deutschland) statistisch betrachtet mehr als 14 Frauen Opfer von Partnerschaftsgewalt. An jedem Tag versucht ein (Ex-)Partner eine Frau zu töten und an jedem dritten Tag gelingt es ihm auch. Verglichen mit den Zahlen des Vorjahres sind diese Gewalttaten um 8,5% gestiegen – die Täter sind überwiegend männlich und die Opfer überwiegend weiblich. Zunächst sollen geschlechtsspezifische Rollenbilder als soziale Konstrukte beleuchtet werden, um die Entstehung und Reproduktion dieser zu verstehen. Ein besonderes Augenmerk soll hierbei auch auf die Konstruktion von Geschlecht – also Gender – gelegt werden. Der zweite Themenabschnitt fokussiert sich auf das Thema Gewalt – der Gewaltbegriff soll hierbei definiert und in diverse Unterkategorien differenziert werden und in den Kontext von Paarbeziehungen eingepflegt werden, um den Zusammenhang mit geschlechtsspezifischen Rollenbildern zu verdeutlichen. Durch diese ganzheitliche Betrachtung sollen die komplexen Zusammenhänge zwischen sozialen Rollen, Geschlecht und Gewalt verdeutlicht werden.
