Le bovarysme, expression née du célèbre roman de Flaubert, est devenu au cours de l’histoire une notion clé de la critique littéraire. Son sens est multiple. Il désigne une forme d’identification au personnage, la faculté de se reconnaître dans une création fictionnelle, point de départ du lien intertextuel et narcissique qui fonde le rapport du lecteur à l’œuvre.
