Aus diesem Grund ist BRAUNER FILZ IM SCHWARZEN SCHAFSPELZ auch kein Enthüllungsbuch, sondern vielmehr der Versuch, die politischen und religiösen Verflechtungen, die nach dem Met stets einen faden Beigeschmack zurücklassen, auf Grundlage musikhistorischer und soziologischer Erkenntnisse, sowie auf der Grundlage eigener Erfahrungen einzuordnen. Dabei wird hier weder verharmlost, noch vorschnell verurteilt, sondern aufgezeigt, dass faschistoide Tendenzen in Rock und Metal weder ein Unfall noch eine Notwendigkeit darstellen, sondern als eine logische Folge aus verschiedenen vorherrschenden gesellschaftlichen Faktoren resultieren. Das Buch soll dazu dienen, den interessierten Leser zu informieren und ihn bei der Bewertung der Thematik zu unterstützen. Zahlreiche Literatur- und Quellenverweise laden auch dazu ein, sich weiter mit der Materie zu beschäftigen. Darüber hinaus ist es gerade auch dazu geeignet, den Leser einfach durch seinen plauderhaften Erzählstil, der gezielt von universitärer Hausarbeitssprache abweicht, zu unterhalten.
