Artiste autodidacte issu d'une formation de styliste, Bruno Pelassy commence vers 1990, à confectionner des bijoux, puis d'impossibles parures entrelacées de perles de verre et de cristal, exposées dans des reliquaires. Il reprend ensuite ce travail pour le compte de la haute couture et réalise une collection de bijoux et d'accessoires.Dés 1994, il s'intéresse aux mécanismes électroniques distribués par l'industrie du jouet pour constituer un étrange univers animé, peuplé de "Bestioles" dérangeantes. Puis ce sont des "Créatures", qui à partir de 2001 s'exhibent en aquarium, gracieuses formes organiques constituées de soie, perles et silicone.
