The book is mainly about encouraging people not to remain silent in the face of injustices perpetrated by those in positions of power. I am someone who abhors social, economic or any other type of injustice and, yes... corruption. Since I live in a country where such is prevalent, and appears to be condoned, I regularly voice out my opinion in my newspaper column on such issues. I felt (and still feel) there was a need to condemn and offer solutions, as I saw them, that can enable every citizen in my country to live in peace and harmony. As a writer and columnist, I felt it imperative to condemn, especially, the violation of human rights. Constantly reading about human rights violations in newspapers in my country, irked me so much such that it became an obsession for me to condemn such and through the urging of my readers, finally compile a book based on my past articles.
