Kedua, memadukan kegiatan ekonomi dan pemberdayaan untuk kemaslahatan dunia dan akhirat. Ketiga, adalah keinginan untuk mewujudkan tujuan koperasi yang sebenarnya, yaitu: mewujudkan kesejahteraan anggota pada khususnya dan masyarakat pada umumnya. Istilah Lima Pilar Pemberdayaan pada Model BMI Syariah mencakup bidang: ekonomi, pendidikan, kesehatan, sosial, dan spiritual. Kegiatan bisnis tidak hanya simpan pinjam dan pembiayaan, tapi dipadukan dengan pemberdayaan sebagai sebuah norma dan value syariah itu sendiri. Tidak ada kesuksesan yang tidak melalui proses. The book offers the first complete English translation of the main parts of Islamic Arabic waqf.
