Dalam cerpen lain, sebuah kolaborasi dengan Justang Zealotous yang bergiat di Forum Lingkar Pena (FLP) Cabang Bone berjudul "Batang dan Daun; Kenangan dan Kerinduan" disajikan sedemikian liris dan menyentuh. Engkau selalu bilang, pohon itu ibarat kita. Batang serupa engkau, dan aku serupa daun. Dan dalam sepanjang jalan yang kita rangkai, engkau akan menahan dan menjagaku seperti batang menjaga daun, hingga saatnya luruh, jatuh, oleh kehendak-Nya.
