Providing insight in a familys history against the backdrop of major world wars, Busters Book offers a collection of more than a thousand letters exchanged during the twentieth century as young men provided service to their country. In this memoir, author Donald Junkins has compiled letters, diaries, interviews, recollections, and photographs of the familys participants in both world wars and the Korean and Vietnam wars. This fascinating historical record includes the stories of a variety of escapades: from single-handedly opening an eight-year-old Nazi prison camp; to B-24 air forays from New Guinea in which an aerial gunner shot down two Japanese Zero planes; and to the rescue in Korea of wounded men stalled in a jeep in the middle of a freezing river that culminated in the awarding of the Silver Star. Busters Book reflects both the lives of a middle-class American family during these years and the daily activities of two generations of young American men at war.

Buster the Human Donkey and the Children is about a jet-black donkey born in the wilds of Grand Turk, one of the Salt Islands in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Busters ancestry was imported to Grand Turk during the Salt Industrys days and left them to roam free on the island. He was later adopted by a large family with six children who took turn nursing him to an adult. In his time with the family, Buster accepted the children in his life; he watched TV with them, danced, brayed, swam, played tricks, met people, and more. Buster likes the islands culture, which is taught in the schools, especially the islands national music, which is called ripsaw. He also like one of the local songs called I Dig and sing to his hearts content. The island life is a breeze for him, and it is so wonderful that he could not help but express himself in whatever he does. After attending classes, the children found out later that Buster could talk, and that brought on another level of fun for him and the children. The children found out that there is never a doubt moment with Buster.

Charles Spencer Chaplin was a stage performer before he was a filmmaker, and it was in English music hall that he learned the rudiments of his art. The last film he made in the United States, Limelight, was a tribute to the music hall days of his youth. As a parallel to Chaplin's past, the film was set in 1914, the year he left the stage for a Hollywood career. This collection of essays examines Limelight and the history of English music hall. Featuring contributions from the world's top Chaplin and music hall historians, as well as previously unpublished interviews with collaborators who worked on Limelight, the book offers new insight into one of Chaplin's most important pictures and the British form of entertainment that inspired it. Essays consider how and why Chaplin made Limelight, other artists who came out of English music hall, and the film's international appeal, among other topics. The book is filled with rare photographs, many published for the first time, sourced from the Chaplin archives and the private collections of other performers and co-stars.

'Tracing Keaton's beginnings in vaudeville and how he eventually applied that form's traits to cinema, McPherson creates an excellent portrait of a formidable talent, also addressing the private demons that accelerated his eventual slide.' Empire'The author, rather like his subject, has the knack of sketching a poignant moment using minimum of sentimental flannel.' Sunday Telegraph 'McPherson wins one over because of his loving fan's attention to, and lively evocation of, the core of Keaton's achievement.' Telegraph'Graceful and charming... McPherson's account is animated by the same sort of colour and vitality as Buster's best work.' Scotsman

Dark Ink Tattoo is a steamy paranormal romance series in the vein of Sons of Anarchy or True Blood if everyone in them was a werewolf, vampire, and queer. Angela: Run. I need to run. My boyfriend, Mark, thinks his mafia connections will be able to kill my ex. But Gray’s an alpha werewolf and the leader of the Pack, Vegas’s most notorious motorcycle gang. It will take more than just a mobbed up human to take him down. To protect my boyfriend and my son—we have to run. Jack: I’m the only one strong enough to save Angela—but even I can’t take on an entire werewolf gang. Which means I have to talk to Rosalie: the vampire who made me, the Mistress I despise. If I don’t, Angela and her son are as good as dead—so I’ll do it, even if swearing allegiance to Rosalie kills me. Again. She’s a werewolf in danger. He’s a vampire about to sell his soul. Welcome to Dark Ink Tattoo, where needles aren't the only things that bite. Keyword note: Blood of the Pack is perfect for people who miss Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire Series, featuring Sookie Stackhouse, which True Blood was based on...only everyone in it is bisexual and it's 5/5 spice.

Who Killed Buster written by Edward Bufala and has been published by Xlibris Corporation this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-01-23 with True Crime categories.

If you are reading this now, you have the book I have written in your hands. If you choose to read this book you will actually be reading two stories, both stories are true. Remember that old cliché that the truth is sometimes stranger than fiction? Well this just happens to be stranger than fiction. You can’t make this stuff up. Part one of my story is about Buster’s life. And it was a rough start, almost from day one, which was November 2°”, 1942. It was if he was angry from his very first day on this earth. Starting with his eviction from l grade to his unsuccessful one day attendance at a Catholic school, to his one year stay at Philadelphia Children’s Hospital for Rheumatic Fever, which left him with heart damage, I’d say that was a rough start, wouldn’t you? Some may have described Buster as an angry, troubled young boy. That couldn’t be farther from the truth I decided later on that Buster wasn’t angry at all. He was just always trying to prove that he could be anythkg that he wanted to be. The fact was that he knew what he wanted to be at a very young age, he knew how he planned to get there, and he was determined to achieve his goals at any cost and no one was going to stop him. I talk about Buster’s family and friends and how they may have influenced or had an impact on his life decisions, which ultimately led to his untimely death on October 8th, 1976. Part two of my book is the bizarre part of his story. If you don’t find part one interesting enough, I suggest that you skip to part two. I guarantee you’ll find it more interesting. There are several rumors as to why someone thought Buster had to die, we just don’t know which is true or if there could be another reason that we don’t know about. His young widowed wife Carol has spun many tales over the past years and truthfully we don’t know what is true and what is a product of her imagination. She has told us about who the killers are and how the killers themselves end up murdered. She tells us how crooked the Las Vegas detectives investigating the murder are and how they try to implicate her own family. This goes on for over 30 years and we still don’t know the truth. After reading this story, you can decide for yourself what is true and what is not, if you choose to. The problem is, unless you were there, you will have the same problem that I have to this day. I don’t know why he had to die and I don’t know who did it.
