This volume presents the journal notes of Sabi Tauber, a young Swiss woman who recorded the experience of her encounters with C. G. Jung. She conscientiously noted Jung's responses to her questions and his comments on her dreams, mostly related to love, the creative principle, and the shadow. In the years 1951-1961, Sabi Tauber often visited Jung in Küsnacht and in his secluded tower in Bollingen. Jung also went to her home in Winterthur a few times, where he spontaneously explained his views in the circle of the Tauber family and their friends. A reader today will immediately be touched by C. G. Jung's living spirit, just as Sabi Tauber was then. While addressing her personal situation, Jung also repeatedly points to the archetype that he recognizes behind each problem. In this way, the scientific precision of Jung's thoughts is imbued with a unique feeling quality.

A New Therapy For Politics written by Andrew Samuels and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-03-29 with Psychology categories.

Andrew Samuels has established an international practice as a political consultant, working with senior politicians, political parties and activist groups. His lectures and workshops on the application of 'therapy thinking' to social and political issues attract wide interest. His previous books in this area, such as The Political Psyche and Politics on the Couch, have been widely appreciated. Now, in a long-anticipated tour-de-force that is both compassionate and intellectually stimulating, this book deepens in a new and innovate style his engagement with themes such as economics, ecopsychology, leadership, aggression and violence, the role of the individual in progressive politics, and sexuality and spirituality in political contexts. The reader is encouraged to move beyond conventional professional or academic discourse by the inclusion of experiential exercises in the text. In this way, activism and analysis, public and private, therapeutic and more-than-personal are all brought together in a satisfying yet challenging synthesis.

Jungian Dimensions Of The Mourning Process Burial Rituals And Access To The Land Of The Dead written by Elizabeth Brodersen and has been published by Taylor & Francis this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-08-22 with Psychology categories.

This innovative volume on the mourning process, burial rites and intimations of immortality offers diverse Jungian, cross-cultural, interdisciplinary, depth-psychological perspectives, written predominantly by graduates and candidates of the CG Jung Institute Zürich. The themes of this book are particularly relevant as they relate to the COVID-19 pandemic and other environmental disasters, when so many people die without a proper burial and are, thus, not properly commemorated with their status value. The contributors cover a wide range of subjects from their clinical observations attached to grief and loss in the prolonged mourning process, the meaning behind burial rites in cyclical and linear temporalities and an analysis of why certain dead are excluded from becoming ancestors. Unconscious processes such as dreams, archetypes and cultural complexes from the personal and collective unconscious are also presented and explored. This collection will be of great interest to interdisciplinary academic researchers, Jungian analysts and students, psychoanalysts, psychotherapists, anthropologists, cultural theorists and students interested in the mourning process, rites of passage, past and present burial practices and the imaginative, symbolic significance of the land of the dead.
