Beerdigt in meinem eigenen Grab. R. I. P. Cameron Kerr

Become Younger written by Norman W. Walker and has been published by Book Publishing Company this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-11-09 with Health & Fitness categories.

Dr. Walker lays out his program on how to become younger which he partly defines as having all or most of the attributes of youth, health, energy, vitality and perpetual laughter on the lips and in the eyes. The key to accessing both more energy and more vitality lies in changing our eating, drinking, and living habits. Dr. Walker encourages people to develop a very definite philosophy he calls Right Thinking, which is maintaining a positive outlook and positive thoughts about themselves and others. Together with the other principles outlined in his program, he offers readers knowledge that gives them the courage to make the changes necessary. Readers are given a brief yet concise introduction to different parts of our anatomy and how these systems work for and against us, depending upon the food we consume. Dr. Walker recommends changing old eating habits to include natural, nourishing foods. The use of juicing, fasting, and eating natural, organic foods in their unprocessed forms, including mostly raw fruits and vegetables, play an important role in maintaining good health. Through his personal observations, experience, and knowledge, Dr. Walker provides the information needed to stay younger.

Ludwig B Rne written by Heinrich Heine and has been published by Camden House this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006 with Biography & Autobiography categories.

First English translation of Heine's controversial though masterful polemic, with introduction and commentary. In 1840, Heinrich Heine, the major German poet of Jewish origin of the age, published a book on Ludwig Börne, the major German political writer of Jewish origin of the period, who had died three years before. Regarded by Heine andothers as his best-written book, it was also his most disastrously conceived. Intended to recover the high ground of revolutionary principle and philosophy against the attacks mounted on him by Börne and his supporters, the bookwas instead met by a storm of outrage from which it seemed Heine's reputation might never recover. In the course of time, the evaluation was reversed; Heine was increasingly celebrated as a true herald of revolution. His vocabulary of Hellenism and Nazarenism, employed for the first time in Börne, was transmitted into English usage by Matthew Arnold. But Börne itself is Heine's only major work that has never been fully translated into English. The commentary to the edition clarifies the conflict between the two most prominent German-Jewish public intellectuals of their time, corrects the misapprehensions constantly in circulation about their relationship and the book, and reveals the many peculiarities of the text. Jeffrey L. Sammons is Leavenworth Professor of German Emeritus at Yale University and the author of four books on Heine.commentary to the edition clarifies the conflict between the two most prominent German-Jewish public intellectuals of their time, corrects the misapprehensions constantly in circulation about their relationship and the book, and reveals the many peculiarities of the text. Cinepoetry Imaginary Cinemas In French Poetry written by Christophe Wall-Romana and has been published by Fordham Univ Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013 with Literary Criticism categories.

Cinepoetry analyzes how French poets have remapped poetry through the lens of cinema for more than a century. In showing how poets have drawn on mass culture, technology, and material images to incorporate the idea, technique, and experience of cinema into writing, Wall-Romana documents the long history of cross-media concepts and practices often thought to emerge with the digital. In showing the cinematic consciousness of Mallarm? and Breton and calling for a reappraisal of the influential poetry theory of the early filmmaker Jean Epstein, Cinepoetry reevaluates the bases of literary modernism. The book also explores the crucial link between trauma and trans-medium experiments in the wake of two world wars and highlights the marginal identity of cinepoets who were often Jewish, gay, foreign-born, or on the margins. What results is a broad rethinking of the relationship between film and literature. The episteme of cinema, the book demonstates, reached the very core of its supposedly highbrow rival, while at the same time modern poetry cultivated the technocultural savvy that is found today in slams, e-poetry, and poetic-digital hybrids.
