La publicación de estas doce obras en CASAS Internacional, dedicado a la región del Alentejo, es la cuarta vez que una edición de esta revis-ta ha sido dedicada a arquitectos portugueses o a obras en Portugal. Se publicaron anteriormente, con la colaboración de un arquitecto local: CASAS Internacional 67 - PORTUGAL (septiembre 1999); CASAS Internacional 151 - ARQUITECTURA PORTUGUESA (diciembre 2014); y CASAS Internacional 165 - SOUTO DE MOURA, Arquitecto (abril 2017). El número actual "CASAS Internacional – Casas no Alentejo'' es parte de un ciclo de monografías en esta revista, aludiendo a diferentes regiones, y expresa un deseo continuo, en tiempo y espacio, de mostrar al mundo la buena arquitectura que se produce en los distintos territorios, denotando una tendencia internacionalizante, en la cual OASRALT colaboró con entusiasmo. La Ordem dos Arquitectos Secção Regional do Alentejo tiene, en este territorio disperso, una misión para mantener la cohesión del territorio, en lo que concierne a la arquitectura y la profesión, la cual es reforzada por la itinerancia de la presentación de los trabajos aquí dispuestos. Es importante mencionar que todas las obras recibidas, bajo la iniciativa promovida por OASRALT (30 obras), son parte de la exposición itinerante "Casas no Alentejo", que fue inaugurada en Évora en octubre 2022, se trasladó a Alcácer do Sal en abril 2023, y de allí a Estremoz; y continuará de gira por el territorio, en su rol de diseminar la arquitectura como una forma de conocimiento.
