Iar atunci cînd evenimentul exodului s-a derulat şi poporul a trecut prin mare ca pe uscat, preotul Madianului a exclamat: „Cunosc acum că Domnul este mai mare decît toţi dumnezeii; căci în lucrul în care s-au purtat cu trufie, El a fost mai pesus de ei” (Ex. 18:11). Dar Yahweh, Domnul Dumnezeul cerului şi al pămîntului este acelaşi ieri, azi şi în veci! De aceea, învăţînd să-L cunoaştem de pe paginile Scripturii, Îl vom descoperi lucrînd şi astăzi în istorie cu aceeaşi putere.

The book can be viewed as an early 20th century 'Catcher in the Rye', and allows us an intimate view of the developing genius, whose literary output has been neglected in the English language for too lon.

Dicționarul Luceafărului eminescian este prima lucrare de lexicografie consacrată unei singure opere poetice românești, şi anume unui «arhi-text» (text poetic integral, concept și realizare în premieră absolută), constituit din formă definitivă, versiuni și variante. Încercările bruionare nu reprezintă distilatul limbaj poetic eminescian, purtând girul autorului prin publicarea în timpul vieții, ci limbajul poetului Mihai Eminescu, așa cum o arată manuscrisele, în încercarea de a i da forma ideală; numeroase versuri nu numai că se ridica la valoarea celor din antume, ci adesea o covârșesc. Aceste versiuni și variante nefinisate conțin un lexic deosebit de bogat și interesant.
