Pour pouvoir parler de déclinaisons, il faut qu'il y ait une racine commune à partir de laquelle les flexions puissent pousser. Cette racine partagée qui marque la nature profonde de la nostalgie est la condition d'excentricité, c'est-à-dire le sentiment d'un manque de coïncidence entre l'individu et son centre, son idée de centre, que ce centre soit symboliquement résumé dans un lieu, un temps, une personne ou autre. La nostalgie, à sa racine, est la mesure affective de la distance qui sépare le moi du chez-soi, c'est la (dé)mesure de la désunion : « [...] si l'on me retient loin de ce que j'aime, je me sens excentrique à la vraie vie », l'écrivait Merleau-Ponty. L'histoire de la nostalgie s'esquisse comme une histoire de déclinaisons qui s'accordent à une époque, à un milieu (géographique, politique, culturel) et aux expériences personnelles des individus, dévoilant des tensions symptomatiques d'un contexte et, en même temps, des tensions spécifiques individuelles. Dans cette perspective, la nostalgie chez les quatre poètes ici analysés et le rôle que ce sentiment joue dans leurs oeuvres montrent autant des sonorités spécifiques pour chacun d'entre eux que des « harmoniques » qui se répandent de l'un à l'autre.

Analecta Bruxellensia has been since 1996 the annual review of the Protestant Faculties of Theology and Religious Studies (FUTP (French) and FPTR (Dutch)) in Brussels. Analecta 21 is a varied number. Three themes are developed covering exegetical, historical, sociological, theological and philosophical fields. The first explores hermeneutics related to the understanding and assimilation of the biblical text; the second addresses the weight of ideology in the construction of narratives invoked in the representation of the Other; the third pursues this theme of encounter and otherness in various historical perspectives. From a queer exegesis of the narrative of Acts 8 to the question of the extent of Christ's salvation in the hypothesis of inhabited worlds in science fiction literature, the eclecticism of these academic contributions, as well as their relevance to contemporary debates, promise the reader multiple changes of scenery and genuinely new thinking.
