Do you long for a life of eternal impact? Church congregations around the world struggle to maintain equilibrium as their attendance plateaus or declines. Moral problems are rampant, with no sign of improvement. What has happened to the Great Commission? What does it mean for us today? What does it mean to you? In Changing the Landscape of Eternity: Transforming Believers into Disciples, Pastor John Thompson challenges and guides church leaders and other believers who desire to make a difference for Christ. Thompson explores effective discipleship, focusing on the methods Jesus and first-century Christian leaders used to make disciples and translating them into modern, practical strategies. He addresses such questions as: How is a life transformed into a mature follower of Christ? How can we create small groups that produce disciples? How can we, as parents, disciple our own children, and how can the Church have the greatest impact on their lives? Believers who desire to follow the example and instructions of our Lord, experiencing the impact on the world that Jesus intended, will be equipped to actualize his clear and simple directive: "Go and make disciples."

Modern science or what I call Newtonian science is altogether wrong. Nothing can stand still in the Universe and remain a part of the Universe. The Universe is the movement thereof. Everything in the Universe has to move should it wish to be ... and everything in the Universe moves ... and in circles but everything moves. There is no mass but only movement and movement is gravity and gravity is time forming space. But how does this system work and how does this system form an entire Universe as big as the one we have. Read this and see how the Universe is truly stitched together by nature and not by Newton's fantasy. It works exactly as Kepler said it does in the tables Kepler left us to study. Space by three forms a circle by two that moves straight by one and that forms the six sided Universe we enjoy as a reality...

British Romanticism Climate Change And The Anthropocene written by David Higgins and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-11-20 with Literary Criticism categories.

This book is the first major ecocritical study of the relationship between British Romanticism and climate change. It analyses a wide range of texts – by authors including Lord Byron, William Cobbett, Sir Stamford Raffles, Mary Shelley, and Percy Shelley – in relation to the global crisis produced by the eruption of Mount Tambora in 1815. By connecting these texts to current debates in the environmental humanities, it reveals the value of a historicized approach to the Anthropocene. British Romanticism, Climate Change, and the Anthropocene examines how Romantic texts affirm the human capacity to shape and make sense of a world with which we are profoundly entangled and at the same time represent our humiliation by powerful elemental forces that we do not fully comprehend. It will appeal not only to scholars of British Romanticism, but to anyone interested in the relationship between culture and climate change.

Changing Representations Of Nature And The City written by Gabriel N. Gee and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-07-04 with Art categories.

The turn of the 1960s-70s, characterized by the rapid acceleration of globalization, prompted a radical transformation in the perception of urban and natural environments. The urban revolution and related prospect of the total urbanisation of the planet, in concert with rapid population growth and resource exploitation, instigated a surge in environmental awareness and activism. One implication of this moment is a growing recognition of the integration and interconnection of natural and urban entities. The present collection is an interdisciplinary inquiry into the changing modes of representation of nature in the city beginning from the turn of the 1960s/70s. Bringing together a number of different disciplinary approaches, including architectural studies and aesthetics, heritage studies and economics, environmental science and communication, the collection reflects upon the changing perception of socio-natures in the context of increasing urban expansion and global interconnectedness as they are/were manifest in specific representations. Using cases studies from around the globe, the collection offers a historical and theoretical understanding of a paradigmatic shift whose material and symbolic legacies are still accompanying us in the early 21st century.
