Each chapter is a totally new day and new adventure. The characters in each chapter are real people, and they are portrayed by their physical character and the way they typically act. Miss Lisa is the main character, and she is the only character that is defined by name. Her name is an acronym for Love Is Simply Awesome. In each of the journeys, Miss Lisa gives a short story about what is happening in the journey. The journeys sometimes have a biblical story and sometimes a life-telling story. As each chapter goes on a different journey, the interpretation of the journey is left up to each individual as to what is really happening. Open up your heart and think with an open mind to totally get the meaning of the journey. Sometimes we are led in one direction, but at the same time we can be pulled in a totally different direction by our mind. The journey is only in the mind, and the chariot is the method by which the mind is moved in the journey. Reflect in each chapter, and see if you or any of your friends fit into the characters. "More than a journey taker, Gary L. Ellinger is like a general in charge of a group of soldiers getting ready to go to battle. The plan of the day is laid out and then the journey proceeds as if directed by a super being. The super being in this case is a man called "Our Father." Gary has the real knowledge of what is needed to make the journey interesting and to get you there and back without incident. The words that he writes are an inspiration to all who read this book. The travels are not too far fetched and they are definitely possible in a person's mind. Let the journey begin" - Jack Hansford Fields -

This edition of Ramakatha Rasavahini improves on the previous edition. Grammatical errors and typos have been corrected, and some sentences have been rewritten to smooth and clarify the presentation —of course, without disturbing the meaning. Long paragraphs have been split in two to provide easier reading. Sanskrit words have been replaced by English equivalents, to make the text accessible to readers who do not know Sanskrit. The accuracy of the text has been maintained by putting Sanskrit words in parentheses, after their English translations. Several Sanskrit words have made their way into the English language and can be found in most dictionaries —e.g. dharma, guru, yoga, and moksha. These words are mostly used without translation, although their meanings appear in the glossary at the end of the book. Besides definition of Sanskrit words used in this book, the glossary contains descriptions of the people and places mentioned. This edition is being brought out in ebook form, for tablets such as the Kindle, Ipad, and Nook. Clicking on most Sanskrit words, people, and places will take you right to the glossary, where you can find the meaning. A back-button will be available in your reader to take you back to where you were reading. And on these tablets, you generally get to choose a font and font size that suits you. With these changes, we hope that the revised Ramakatha Rasavahini will be of great benefit to earnest seekers in the spiritual realm. The aim of this book is to provide the student of Japanese with a simple method for correlating the writing and the meaning of Japanese characters in such a way as to make them both easy to remember. It is intended not only for the beginner, but also for the more advanced student looking for some relief from the constant frustration of how to write the kanji and some way to systematize what he or she already knows. The author begins with writing because--contrary to first impressions--it is in fact the simpler of the two. He abandons the traditional method of ordering the kanji according to their frequency of use and organizes them according to their component parts or "primitive elements." Assigning each of these parts a distinct meaning with its own distinct image, the student is led to harness the powers of "imaginative memory" to learn the various combinations that result. In addition, each kanji is given its own key word to represent the meaning, or one of the principal meanings, of that character. These key words provide the setting for a particular kanji's "story," whose protagonists are the primitive elements. In this way, students are able to complete in a few short months a task that would otherwise take years. Armed with the same skills as Chinese or Korean students, who know the meaning and writing of the kanji but not their pronunciation in Japanese, they are now in a much better position to learn to read (which is treated in a separate volume). Winged Chariot written by Peter Lush and has been published by Casemate Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-11-04 with History categories.

An impeccably researched examination of the role the RAF played during this epic World War II raid in German-occupied France. In what has been described as “the greatest raid of them all,” Operation Chariot saw heavy destruction of the enemy-occupied port of St. Nazaire by British forces. With focus on the planning and actions of the operation, Peter Lush explores the three functions carried out by the RAF: the sweeping of the Bay of Biscay, the diversionary raid, and protecting the withdrawing survivors. He also outlines the importance of the photographic Reconnaissance Unit to the raid and the development of the Bomber and Coastal Commands particularly though the sorties flown by Coastal Command two days before the attack started. The book also highlights the tragedy that occurred for the RAF, when diversionary raids were carried out in impossible conditions; resulting in the loss of aircraft across Yorkshire and in the Channel. Lush examines whether this could have been prevented if the RAF had not been marginalized during the planning process of Operation Chariot. This timely and ultimate account, written by an expert who has collated over forty years worth of research, is an essential work for all those interested in military aviation, particularly during the Second World War. “Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning more about the history of World War II, and the unsung heroes.” —IPMS/USA
