Y que no se haya descubierto otro anterior y castella no cuyo nombre haya llegado a nuestra noticia. Fr. Ambrosio Gomez Benedl&ino 1) le colocó en el siglo XI. Y dice que conoció a Santo Domingo de Silos que le comunicó y que juntos vivieron en el monasterio de San Millan. Seiscien'tox 'añ'os ha dixo Gomez el de 165 3) que escribió Berrea y habla dr Santo Domingo que fue amigo suyo y le venero' por Santo. Segun esto Berceo escribió la vida del Santo el año de 1053.
