Io, Francesca Crivellaro, nasco nella “dotta” Bologna ed in essa mi riconosco. Nella sua cucina, nei suoi portici, nell’attività lavorativa alternata ai ritrovi notturni con gli amici. Mi laureo in Scienze Politiche per approfondire poi il settore delle Risorse Umane (in particolare la Selezione del Personale). In seguito, il passaggio verso il settore pubblico, mi porta a lavorare presso il Museo Internazionale e Biblioteca della Musica di Bologna. La mia POESIA nasce dalla necessità di comunicare con me stessa e con chi legge. Atto necessario che mi conduce, nel corso del tempo, a descrivere il compiersi di mutamenti, passando da periodi più cupi a rinascite (che trasformano la crisalide in farfalla). La poesia da silenziosa acquista voce: dalla prima stesura a quella finale è tutto un lavoro di rilettura e ascolto, affinché la poesia acquisti un suo proprio ritmo e significato (poesia ad alta voce). Nell’attimo stesso in cui la poesia viene presentata e letta da altri poi, acquista una vita propria e forse sarà suscettibile di varie interpretazioni a seconda di chi la legge. Nel corso del tempo, il confronto con altri poeti (durante incontri settimanali presso il circolo La Fattoria di Bologna) mi indusse a prendere in considerazione altri angoli visuali. La poesia può nascere dalle pieghe del quotidiano o da sentimenti legati a eventi importanti ma, in ogni caso, è un invito a fermarsi: per riflettere e per emozionare. E, per chi scrive, è spesso un’urgenza ed un bisogno: quello di fissare un momento e coglierne la Luce.

Durante la seconda guerra mondiale successero cose incredibili in Italia. Il fascismo imponeva una dura disciplina e gli adolescenti dovevano uniformarsi alle direttive senza protestare o manifestare insofferenza. La voce protagonista di questo romanzo è nel 1940 un bambino che frequenta la scuola elementare in zona piazzale Loreto a Milano. Lui, come altri suoi compagni, viene esposto ai raggi ultravioletti per combattere, a detta del regime, il rachitismo e migliorare lo stato di salute. Gli effetti però sembrano andare al di là, tanto che questa “terapia” influenzerà non poco la vita successiva del ragazzo, tra cefalee, emicranie e improvvise capacità ultrasensoriali. Nel frattempo la guerra infuria e rende sempre più difficile la quotidianità, imponendo trasferimenti – nella zona tra Como e Erba – e convivenze forzate come nel caso dell’arrivo dei nazisti. Il romanzo di Giovanni Bianchi racconta il difficile periodo della guerra tramite gli occhi di un ragazzino, e la stagione immediatamente successiva, fino al 1958, quando quell’esperienza collettiva e traumatica lasciò il posto ai destini individuali, tra nuove sfide da affrontare e sogni da realizzare… Giovanni Bianchi vive a Milano, città dove è nato nel 1934 e che ama da sempre. Dopo essere rimasto orfano di guerra nel tristemente famoso bombardamento dell’Agosto del 1943, ha trascorso alcuni anni in diversi istituti e comunità preposte dallo stato. A quattordici anni è entrato a tempo pieno nel mondo del lavoro, completando successivamente gli studi in scuole serali e festive al fine di consolidare una adeguata linea di carriera nella specializzazione della finanza e del commercio con l’estero. Da diversi anni è in pensione e divide il tempo tra la sua amata Milano e la sua ridente Liguria. “Il Viale del Sole Nascente” è il suo primo libro. Lo spunto iniziale è nato da una richiesta della figlia, che desiderava conoscere qualcosa in più della sua storia di bambino e adolescente negli anni della Seconda Guerra Mondiale e del Dopoguerra in Italia.
