La rivista “Etica pubblica. Studi su legalità e partecipazione” nasce all’interno del progetto Lepa (Legalità e partecipazione) grazie al quale il Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche dell’Università di Perugia è stato riconosciuto dal Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca “Dipartimento di Eccellenza”. La rivista parte da un presupposto principale: la legalità non può essere ridotta ad una questione di repressione. Legalità è soprattutto frutto di idee condivise di bene comune e interesse generale, appunto un’etica pubblica condivisa, che possa prevenire azioni e comportamenti devianti che minacciano e feriscono la convivenza civile. Un’etica pubblica improntata all’interesse generale presuppone nello stesso tempo la partecipazione attiva dei cittadini per la difesa e lo sviluppo di tali presupposti. È un’etica che fa sentire i cittadini parte decisiva ed attiva della comunità stessa. La rivista intende diventare luogo di dibattito e di promozione di queste idee. Ospita quindi contributi diversi, da quelli filosofici a quelli storici, da quelli giuridici a quelli sociologici, da quelli economici a quelli politologici che possano contribuire a sviluppare e a divulgare una più diffusa cultura dell’interesse generale indagandone, con un approccio scientifico, le origini, i presupposti, le modalità operative nei diversi ambiti della struttura sociale. La rivista è promotrice di un approccio interdisciplinare alla questione della legalità inserendola in un ambito complesso di interazioni che coinvolgono saperi diversi. Particolare attenzione sarà anche dedicata ad un approccio comparativo che possa contribuire a mettere in luce le peculiarità del caso italiano. La rivista, semestrale, accoglie contributi in italiano e in inglese. È divisa in tre sezioni: la prima sezione, “Saggi” contiene saggi scientifici, sottoposti a peer-review. Segue una sezione “Letti e riletti”, a cura di Francesco Clementi, dedicata a recensioni e quindi un’ultima sezione “note e commenti”, a cura di Nando Dalla Chiesa, con articoli brevi sui argomenti di attualità.
