O presente livro resulta da II Semana do Patrimônio de Jaguarão em formato virtual, que ocorreu no ano de 2020, intitulada “Nossa História, Nossas Memórias”. O evento foi organizado pelo Instituto Conexão Sociocultural (CONEX) e Setorial do Patrimônio Cultural em parceria com a Sociedade Independente Cultural (SIC) e a Secretária de Cultura e Turismo de Jaguarão (SECULT). As conferências com pesquisadores qualificados e reconhecidos no âmbito nacional, as apresentações de artistas Jaguarenses e o olhar midiáticos sobre os bens materiais e imateriais de Jaguarão incitam a reflexão sobre o que realmente é o patrimônio. Ao discutirmos o reconhecimento do patrimônio local abrimos um leque de possibilidades para aproximar a comunidade de seus verdadeiros bens, em vivenciar as transformações do tempo e das memórias.
