La demande énergétique mondiale continue d'augmenter. Les prix des énergies fossiles sont instables et incertains. La libéralisation du marché électrique et une conscience environnementale des acteurs mondiaux sont des leviers au développement des énergies renouvelables. Ces dernières se développent à un rythme rapide dans le monde. Elles ont atteint une maturité technique qui leur permet de devenir un segment important de l'industrie de l'énergie. Leur insertion dans le mix énergétique pose de nouveaux défis par rapport aux sources d'énergie traditionnelles. Avec un potentiel abondant encore sous-exploité, le photovoltaïque et l'énergie éolienne sont avantageux sur le plan économique et environnemental. Cependant, leur caractère intermittent diminue leur efficacité énergétique lorsqu'elles sont exploitées individuellement. L'utilisation de systèmes hybrides (multi-sources) combinant ces sources d'énergie renouvelables, le réseau de distribution national (réseau électrique historique) et les systèmes de stockage classiques, est généralement considérée par tous comme solution d'avenir, à la fois efficiente et fiable. Il est alors nécessaire de repenser la structure des réseaux électriques et des marchés de l'énergie, ainsi que des changements dans les méthodes de gestion de réseau. Dans ce contexte, l'apport envisagé avec ce travail de thèse est de contribuer à la modélisation et l'optimisation de systèmes multi-sources multi-charges pour alimenter aussi bien des sites isolés « énergie de proximité » (campus, village) que des sites étendus tels que des régions françaises à travers leur interconnexion « pooling ». Différents scenarii de gestion et différentes configurations des systèmes sont modélisés, testés et comparés pour analyser l'efficacité et la robustesse de chaque cas de figure. Une analyse technico-économique complète est réalisée, dans le but d'étudier la faisabilité de chaque système. Pour démontrer la validation de ces modèles, des études ont été réalisées sur un campus Universitaire Français, un micro-réseau au Mali et trois régions Françaises. Ces dernières ont fait l'objet d'application à un modèle original d'interconnexion basé sur les réseaux de Pétri pour l'aide à la décision en termes de configurations du réseau et le contrôle des flux d'énergie échangés entre des territoires producteurs-consommateurs interconnectés sans système de stockage.

Cette thèse a pour but l'analyse d'un système photovoltaïque connecté au réseau électrique en prenant en compte le contrôle, l'étude de la stabilité et la fiabilité. Un onduleur de type 2-Niveau a été comparé avec un onduleur multi-niveaux appelé Neutral Point Clamped. Les avantages et désavantage de chaque topologie ont été analysé en considérant l'efficacité énergétique, l'optimisation de l'injection de l'énergie sur le réseau électrique et la fiabilité du système. Pour le contrôle du courant de sortie de l'onduleur, ont été proposées deux solutions : un contrôle basé sur la théorie de la platitude et un contrôle par passivité. Ces deux différents contrôles sont comparés par rapport à la robustesse, la complexité et le nombre de capteurs utilisés. Il a été montré que les deux contrôles sont capables de gérer la problématique de la résonance du filtre LCL. Pour augmenter l'efficacité de l'algorithme MPPT dans une configuration Distributed-MPPT avec la connexion en série des deux sorties des convertisseurs boost, une nouvelle technique a été proposé pour l'équilibrage des tension d'entrée d'un onduleur NPC. En utilisant un outil appelé TPtool, un étude de la stabilité large signal par "Higher-Order-Singular-Value-Decomposition" a été présenté et comparé avec une méthode basée sur les modèles Takagi-Sugeno pour des systèmes non-linéaires. Finalement, l'onduleur 2-Niveaux est comparé avec deux multi-niveaux différents (NPP et NPC) en termes de disponibilité, en prenant en compte les niveaux de redondance des convertisseurs. Pour analyser la disponibilité, a été considérée la théorie des chaines de Markov et pour l'implémentation, le logiciel GRIF a été utilisé

La lutte contre l'onchocercose, ou cécité des rivières, une maladie parasitaire endémique, fut entreprise en Afrique de l'Ouest dans une perspective do développement durable. Tous les moyens technologiques disponibles ont de ce fait été mobilisés pour le contrôle du vecteur, une simulie, puis du parasite responsables de cette maladie, par le Programme de Lutte contre l’Onchocercose en Afrique de l'Ouest (OCP). La lutte antivectorielle consistant en épandages d’insecticides chimiques sur les sites de développement de la simulie dans les rivières, il est apparu indispensable d’assurer la sauvegarde de l’environnement aquatique qui fournit aux communautés riveraines eau et ressources biologiques. Les technologies les plus modernes ont été mises en œuvre dès leur mise au point, pour combattre la maladie, contribuant ainsi à la protection de ce milieu. Le programme de surveillance écologique des rivières traitées par des larvicides anti-simulies a été mis en place dès le lancement d’OCP. et assuré par des spécialistes de I' hydrobiologie des pays africains participants du Programme, sous la supervision d’un groupe international d’experts indépendants, le Groupe Écologique. OCP est incontestablement un succès aussi bien pour ce qui est du contrôle de la maladie que de la protection de l'environnement. Il est l'exemple unique au monde d’un programme de santé publique de longue durée qui depuis son origine a mis en œuvre tout ce qui était possible pour harmoniser les enjeux de l’amélioration de la santé et ceux de la protection de l’environnement. Il s'est achevé avec la satisfaction de laisser aux générations montantes un environnement non dégradé et des vallées libérées de l’onchocercose, qui permettront d’accroître la productivité agricole des pays africains.

Semi-infinite programming (briefly: SIP) is an exciting part of mathematical programming. SIP problems include finitely many variables and, in contrast to finite optimization problems, infinitely many inequality constraints. Prob lems of this type naturally arise in approximation theory, optimal control, and at numerous engineering applications where the model contains at least one inequality constraint for each value of a parameter and the parameter, repre senting time, space, frequency etc., varies in a given domain. The treatment of such problems requires particular theoretical and numerical techniques. The theory in SIP as well as the number of numerical SIP methods and appli cations have expanded very fast during the last years. Therefore, the main goal of this monograph is to provide a collection of tutorial and survey type articles which represent a substantial part of the contemporary body of knowledge in SIP. We are glad that leading researchers have contributed to this volume and that their articles are covering a wide range of important topics in this subject.
