Using China's stock market as the testing venue, this study examines how corporate transparency helps explain the sensitivity of stock prices to general investor sentiment. We find that firms with low corporate transparency, measured by a battery of proxies including state ownership, the prevalence of related party transactions, accrual-based earnings management, audit opinions, and the quality of audit firms, are more affected by investor sentiment than are firms with high corporate transparency. Overall, our findings highlight the importance of corporate transparency in mitigating the effects of investor sentiment on stock prices.

In the change rapidly trading market, informativeness has always been attention by investors and academics. As more and more investors engage the market and form more regularly highlight corporate governance, it takes the stock information, and investor sentiment invoked by news becomes more valuable to research. The first part, This research follows Roll (1988) to investigate whether existing stock price informativeness affects the debt rate and forms a supervision effect in the Taiwan stock market. According to Morck et al. (2000) study, Taiwan market rank prior three number in price synchronize; hence we use the sample of Taiwan market as context to test price information with debt rate for checking transparent price change and market efficiency. As a result, the result shows that more transparency and openness have positive significance in the market. In the second part, we directly use artificial intelligence to capture news from public internet websites for natural language processing and use Bitcoin as an underlying to prove the iii hypothesis of sequential information arrival and the hypothesis of mixed distribution. In short, the innovative contribution of this research is to use Text mining and Big data methods to obtain news article data, introduce Artificial intelligence model calculations and quantify news sentiment data to replace transaction volume. Therefore, this research can use actual news indicator data to discuss the relationship between it and the volatility of returns to compare the estimated feasibility of the two financial hypotheses (SIAH and MDH) in Bitcoin. This approach can make up for the lack of indicator data of the information field in the past research literature and provide investors, policymakers, and academia with greater enlightenment and the role of future research.

Does country transparency affect international portfolio investment? We examine this and related questions using some new measures of transparency and a unique micro dataset on international portfolio holdings. We distinguish between government and corporate transparency. There is clear evidence that international funds invest systematically less in less transparent countries. On the other hand, herding among funds tends to be more prevalent in less transparent countries. There is also some evidence that during crises, funds flee non-transparent countries by a greater amount.

La 4e de couverture indique : "Despite a vast accumulation of private capital, China is not embracing capitalism. Deceptively familiar capitalist features disguise the profoundly unfamiliar foundations of "market socialism with Chinese characteristics." The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), by controlling the career advancement of all senior personnel in all regulatory agencies, all state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and virtually all major financial institutions state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and senior Party positions in all but the smallest non-SOE enterprises, retains sole possession of Lenin's Commanding Heights. The chapters in this volume examine China's high savings rate, banking system, financial markets, financial regulations, corporate governance, and public finances; and consider policy alternatives the CCP might consider if its goal is China's elevation into the ranks of high income countries."

This is an open access book. 2023 3rd International Conference on Financial Management and Economic Transition (FMET 2023) will be held on August 18-20, 2023 in Changsha, China. At present, the global economic situation is complex, the recovery prospects are not clear, and the economic growth rate is slowing down, which is at the key stage of transforming the economic development mode and industrial transformation and upgrading. With the transformation of the mode of economic development, various problems and contradictions coexist, and the problems of imbalance, uncoordinated and unsustainable development are prominent; The contradiction between the downward pressure on economic growth and the relative overcapacity has intensified; The problems of rising production and operation costs and insufficient innovation capacity coexist; The contradiction between the slow growth of fiscal revenue and the increase of government rigid expenditure is prominent; The irrational industrial structure, the weak agricultural foundation, the increasingly acute contradiction between economic development and resources and environment, the large gap between urban and rural areas, regional development and income distribution of residents, and the obvious increase of social contradictions, which are related to the vital interests of the public; The economy and society are facing a series of opportunities and challenges. Therefore, it is expected to clarify the obstacles and obstacles to sustainable development and launch measures to deepen reform. Macroeconomic growth and its development are highly correlated with the development of enterprises at the microeconomic level. Since the outbreak of the international financial crisis, the economy, especially the real economy, has faced the current situation of declining growth rate, weak demand, rising costs and shrinking profits. The essence behind this phenomenon is the difficult problem of structural adjustment and transformation of development mode. Now, we need to transform to the path of refined and scientific management, and achieve higher labor efficiency output with less resource input and lower capital consumption, Through numerous micro-economies, we have achieved a wide-ranging transformation of growth, thus promoting the transformation of the national economy. Among them, financial management is of great significance. We sincerely invite you to participate in FMET 2023 to discuss the relationship and development direction between economic transformation and financial upgrading.

This first edition of this book was a broad study, drawing on a wide range of published research and historical evidence, of the enormous stock market boom that started around 1982 and picked up incredible speed after 1995. Although it took as its specific starting point this ongoing boom, it placed it in the context of stock market booms generally, and it also made concrete suggestions regarding policy changes that should be initiated in response to this and other such booms. The book argued that the boom represents a speculative bubble, not grounded in sensible economic fundamentals. Part one of the book considered structural factors behind the boom. A list of twelve precipitating factors that appear to be its ultimate causes was given. Amplification mechanisms, naturally-occurring Ponzi processes, that enlarge the effects of these precipitating factors, were described. Part Two discussed cultural factors, the effects of the news media, and of "new era" economic thinking. Part Three discussed psychological factors, psychological anchors for the market and herd behavior. Part Four discussed attempts to rationalize exuberance: efficient markets theory and theories that investors are learning. Part Five presented policy options and actions that should be taken. The second edition, 2005, added an analysis of the real estate bubble as similar to the stock market bubble that preceded it, and warned that "Significant further rises in these markets could lead, eventually, to even more significant declines. The bad outcome could be that eventual declines would result in a substantial increase in the rate of personal bankruptcies, which could lead to a secondary string of bankruptcies of financial institutions as well. Another long-run consequence could be a decline in consumer and business confidence, and another, possibly worldwide, recession." Thus, the second edition of this book was among the first to warn of the global financial crisis that began with the subprime mortgage debacle in 2007.
