Cosmos offre une approche accessible de cet étourdissant panorama céleste qu'il explore pas à pas, révélant la magie des planètes, étoiles, nébuleuses, naines blanches, trous noirs et autres merveilles de l'Univers au gré de 450 photographies récentes et spectaculaires. Ce fascinant périple débute par une observation orbitale de la Terre, suivie d'une incursion dans le système solaire interne dominé par la Lune, Vénus, Mercure, le Soleil et Mars.
