If product produced is not of good finish then even after having good quality raw material its of no value.Thats what is the problem in Indian marketplace. We focus more on quantity and lack finishing and as the quality of raw material is good our prices are high. But since its finishing is not great . Customers are not willing to pay high prices for it. So the seller is forced to sell at low cost.Thereby our profit margins are less and it gets difficult to survive for small manufacturers.This is a big problem it has to be solved . If want to get great at production and manufacturing . We got to have great quality raw materials which we have at present and with this great finish which is were we are lacking.Its all skill. You cannot take finish lightly for finished product.As customers perception is that a peter englands shirt is stitched well and its of great finish .But from a small seller if his quality of cloth is good but stitching is not up to the mark. He has to compromise on his selling price because at the time of purchasing product customer differentiates different brands based upon the finishing of the shirt and not quality.As quality is hidden initially and finish is what visible .So in the book we are going to discuss about both hidden quality and visible quality which is finish of the product.
