Although the institution of marriage has been in existence since the creation of the human race, mankind has struggled to achieve the peace and security that this institution is supposed to offer. Many books have been written and numerous seminars and conferences have been held to answer the often asked question What is the recipe for a blissful marriage?, and although many suggestions have been offered, the rate of divorce continues to increase. The author relentlessly pursued and researched this line of study, taking him back to the first human creation, bringing him nearer to the origin of this institution and its originator. Throughout the ages, many billions of people have followed this tradition in which the lawful reproductions of the human race have been ensured. As time elapsed and man went astray from the divine guidance that came to him, the originator sends constant reminders of the rules, as once sent to the prophets that are supposed to guide us. However, again and again we have chosen to ignore these rules that are supposed to secure that peaceful, happy, tranquil, and durable relationship between husband and wife. Cultural Perception of Marriage among Muslims is filled with advice and a recipe for success for people of all races and colours, religion and locales, of how a blissful marriage can be achieved when drawn from the divine text. So whether you are married or hope to get married one day, this book will be of great benefit and a blessing. This book is to be studied and used as a point of reference in order to avoid the pitfalls of disunity and disagreement and separation between a husband and wife, avoiding a problematic marriage.

All though the institution of marriage between a man and a woman has been in existence since the creation of the human race, mankind has struggled to achieve the peace and security that this institution is supposed to offer. Many books have been written, and numerous seminars and conferences have been held to explain, and answer the often asked question 'What is the recipe for a blissful marriage? and although many suggestions have offered the rate of divorce continue to increases as time goes by.To address this off repeated question I had to do some extensive research, and as I relentlessly pursue this line of study which took me back to the first human creation, it brought me nearer and nearer to the origin of this institution and its originator. What I have discover was that the human creation started with a man and a woman and their relationship was based upon being wife and husband, and they had guidance as to how they and their off springs could live peacefully, in our age we can say they had a text book that guided them as to how they should live peacefully.Throughout the ages many billions of people have followed this tradition in which the lawful reproductions of the human race have been insured. As time elapses and man went astray from the divine guidance came to them, the originator has always sent constant reminder of these rule and regulations that is supposed to guide us through the revelations that was sent to the prophets. However again, and again, we have chosen to ignore these rules and regulation that is supposed to secure and insure that peaceful, happy, tranquil, and durable relationship between the husband and his wife. Also ignored are the constructive methods that have been legislated in finding amicable solution to rectify disagreements that may occur between not just between the wife and the husband but between the family and other than them. Having said that, my book is therefore an advice and a recipe to the people of all races and colour, religion or places, of how a blissful marriage can be achieved drawn from the divine text and evidences of the One Who created this institution in the first place. So whether you are married or single, but hope to get married one day, it would of great benefit and a blessing to own a copy of this book to be studied and use as a point of reference in order to avoid the pitfalls of disunity and disagreement, and separation between the husband and the wife and a problematic marriage..

My Book could be described as a teaching manual that every married and prospective married couple should own. In it are the classical explanations of all the fundamentals of Marriage, Divorce, Anger(its variance and its management), Case studies, Advice from people of knowledge, and tips on achieving a blissful marriage relationship. It is drawn from the Scriptures, taken and compiled from Prophets, Scholars, and examples and explanations from men and women of knowledge. I was born in Jamaica, raised by a very strict family, attended primary school, and then studied Agriculture at the (J Y C). After graduation, I did my national service in Jamaica Constabulary Force for four years, where I was taught Classical music. I migrated to the U.K. in 1960 and have remained here ever since. I have studied Psychodynamic Counselling and the science of the Institution of marriage based upon the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger. I have been a successful marriage counselor and an Imam for H M Prison Service for the past forty-five years. Based upon this knowledge, plus my personal experience as a marriage counselor, I have written and produced five books since 2016, two of which relate to family issues, including my latest book, "Muslim Perception of Marriage and Culture." I hope that the benefit of the knowledge gained from this book will bring about a better understanding of the rights and obligations between consenting partners in a married relationship. I hope it will enable them to enjoy a blissful relationship for themselves, their offspring, their extended families, and the communities, and In sha Allah, a cessation of the constant abuse of battered wives, domestic violence, and divorce. This book explores the intimate marital relationships of Indonesian Muslim married women. As well as describing and analysing their sexual relationships, the book also investigates how Islam influences discourses of sexuality in Indonesia, and in particular how Islamic teachings affect Muslim married women’s perceptions and behaviour in their sexual relationships with their husbands. Based on extensive original research, the book reveals that Muslim women perceive marriage as a social, cultural, and religious obligation that they need to fulfil; that they realise that finding an ideal marriage partner is complicated, with some having the opportunity for a long courtship and others barely knowing their partner prior to marriage; and that there is a strong tendency, with some exceptions, for women to consider a sexual relationship in marriage as their duty and their husband’s right. Religious and cultural discourses justify and support this view and consider refusal a sin (dosa) or taboo (pamali). Both discourses emphasise obedience towards husbands in marriage.

Divorce And Remarriage Among Muslims In India written by Imtiaz Ahmad and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2003 with Social Science categories.

Divorce is usually studied in terms of two distinct perspectives. One focuses on the procedure laid down for giving the seal of final authority to a divorce. The other explores the processes that are set in motion once the stability of a marriage is threatened. The latter perspective does not see divorce in isolation but treats it in the wider context of social structure. When divorce in Muslim communities is discussed, the tendency quite often is to place theology and law at the centre. This book recognizes that divorce in Muslim communities entails substantial theological and legal dimensions, but takes as its point of departure the view that it is only by placing divorce in the social and cultural context that meaningful conclusions can be arrived at. It examines, in the light of empirical evidence, the incidence of divorce and separation, the social and other causes due to which divorce and separation takes place, and the position of divorced women in society as well as their prospects of remarriage. In the process substantial methodological and theoretical questions relevant to the study of divorce as a social phenomenon are raised. The book has an immediate practical aim as well. Muslim law of divorce, particularly the provision of triple divorce, which vests a unilateral right in the husband to pronounce a summary divorce upon his wife, has been the subject of considerable controversy. Essentially, the papers brought together in this book are sociological analyses of divorce and remarriage among Muslims in India and the data thrown up as part of these analyses should clear some points in the controversy.
