Le corpus de « Metaphysica Pura » contient plusieurs métaphysiques imbriquées les unes dans les autres, clairement discernables et objectivement complémentaires. En effet, les deux volumes s’efforcent de présenter et de développer les richesses prodigieuses de la Metaphysica perennis. D’une manière plus précise, dans « Metaphysica Pura », nous découvrons plusieurs expressions de la « Métaphysique pérenne ». Il s’agit de : la métaphysique ontologique, la métaphysique réflexive, la métaphysique relationnelle, la métaphysique symbolique, la métaphysique poétique et spirituelle, la métaphysique hénologique, la métaphysique axiologique et la métaphysique théologale. Le premier tome explicite la perspective complexe dans laquelle il faut se placer pour comprendre objectivement la métaphysique. En dépit de la séparation qu’on a accoutumé d’accentuer entre la métaphysique et la théologie, ces deux disciplines sont étroitement liées dans leur effort de réflexion totale. Ne pas séparer l’ontologie de la métaphysique. En effet, la consistance ontologique exerce sur la réflexion métaphysique une influence prépondérante. Nul existentiel n’est en dehors de la relation. Cette considération est première. Le deuxième tome « exerce » la réflexion métaphysique en dégageant les deux versants de la métaphysique : la vérité philosophique de l’existentiel et la question de l’existence de Dieu. La métaphysique remonte à Dieu à partir de l’existence des choses, à partir de l’unicité de l’univers. Ne pas séparer la théologie de la métaphysique. Il y a interaction entre la théologie et la métaphysique. C’est pourquoi, la réflexion métaphysique est appelée à bon droit réflexion totale. Au sens intégral, la métaphysique pérenne est l’unité de la métaphysique, théologale en sa source.

For the first time, Chauvin placed the scholastic tradition side by side with the theories of new thinkers like Descartes, Gassendi and their followers. His work covers natural philosophy extensively, describing scientific instruments and experiments. Surprisingly enough, the complex architecture of Chauvin’s dictionary, its sources, and its fortune have never been thoroughly investigated before. The present, broad study in the history of philosophical terminology and ideas casts light on the culture of the “République des lettres” between the end of the seventeenth and the beginning of the eighteenth century. The book offers a systematic reconstruction of the disagreement between Husserl and Heidegger from the former's perspective, but without falling into any form of Husserlian apologetics. The main thesis is that Husserl's critique of Heidegger's existential analytics as a form of philosophical anthropology entails a deeper fundamental thesis, namely that Heidegger confuses the object of first philosophy (the transcendental determination of the subject) with metaphysics (in the Husserlian sense of the expression). Addressing the Husserl-Heidegger confrontation, this text provides the first systematic reconstruction of Husserl's conception of the system of philosophy from the perspective of his later works, with a special focus on the Cartesian Meditations. At stake in Husserl's critique of Heidegger's philosophy in Being and Time is the refusal to transcendentalize the irrational aspects and nature of our human existence. This first volume addresses Husserl's doctrine of transcendental idealism with the aim of elucidating the distinction between first philosophy, second philosophies and what Husserl calls last philosophy. This volume appeals to students and researchers.
