Perubahan-perubahan sosial yang terjadi di Nagari Salayo akibat globalisasi juga dibahas dalam buku ini yang bertujuan agar generasi muda Nagari Salayo dapat mengetahui pola ideal tatanan adat yang berlaku di Nagari Salayo bisa membandingkannya dengan pola actual yang berlaku saat ini.
