This is the third volume of my collections of dark genre short stories. Some within this book are a bit longer than many short stories, but they too have their place by allowing some variety. Dark genre plays a significant role in American society since its invention with Edgar Allan Poe. There is nothing more American than the dark short story. I continue to keep this art form alive although some have lost interest in a genre rooted in our nation's beginnings. Perhaps it is the great mix of peoples and cultures that spawn human conflicts, or perhaps it's just a matter of demented minds, but the mix of human activities are rich with dark tales. Unlike some I do not deny the existence of such persons, nor do I ignore the trails they leave. Instead, I embellish and document it for those who dare to read the tales.
