Things are happening in America that we used to only read about in the Bible or hear from the stories of missionaries in faraway lands. Despite the attempts of Communists, Atheists, Academic elitists, and others, the people of this world are becoming increasingly more spiritual in their pursuits! Many, having been hurt or become dissatisfied with what they have experienced in church, have turned away from God. A large number of people are embracing false religions, witchcraft, and occult books, movies, and games. I personally know people that have had altars to demons in their homes to whom they prayed, offered sacrifices, and devoted themselves. Supernatural events ensued! In search of power, riches, and success, people have opened spiritual doors into their lives that should never have been opened! Many now have demons! Much of the church in America has become affluent, sophisticated and religious. By and large she has forgotten her roots, mission, authority, spiritual giftings, and the essential power available to her through the Holy Spirit in order to continue the work of Christ on Earth. Spiritual power struggles and having to deal with demons, curses, strongholds, and more are inevitable. Are you ready? Is your church prepared for this? Christ has given us the authority to do as He did-destroy the works of the devil, rescue lives that are spiritually lost, oppressed, vexed, or possessed, cast down strongholds, and break curses! As a Christian of over 34 years, and a former foreign missionary, I want to share what the Bible has to say about such matters, things I have witnessed, and experiences that I have had-especially with Christians who view such things as frightful, imaginary, strange or unbelievable. I hope you will join me!

In our postmodern, experience-oriented culture, people are longing for greater authenticity, integrity, and depth in their pastors and leaders. Board directors, church members, and staff alike are all eagerly seeking leaders who effectively integrate their spirituality and leadership. Pastors and executives, however, often struggle with knowing how to integrate their spiritual values and practices into their leadership and management roles. Designed for pastors, executives, administrators, managers, coordinators, and all who see themselves as leaders and who want to fulfill their God-given purpose, The Spirit-Led Leader addresses the critical fusion of spiritual life and leadership for those who not only want to see results, but who also desire to care just as deeply about who they are and how they lead as they do about what they produce and accomplish. Geoffrion creates a new vision for spiritual leadership as partly an art, partly a result of careful planning, and always a working of the grace of God

One of the most difficult things to understand about the Bible is why God seems so different in the Old testament than He does in the New Testament. There are places in the Old Testament where God says, "I kill and I destroy." There are many places where God appears to be very harsh when He deals with people. For example, Uzzah died on the spot when he reached out his hand to touch the ark of God. The author is of the conviction that God is good all the time and is never the cause of death, destruction, or sickness of any kind. The author also believes that the Bible is the inerrant word of God. Because of his dilemma in trying to justify these two opposite paradigms, he has done this detailed study on this subject because he believes the Bible cannot contradict itself. Many have blamed God for their afflictions or, at the very least, they have accepted their problems as God's will for their life. If you believe that God is doing something evil to you to teach you a lesson or to develop your faith, how can you have faith to be healed or to be delivered from any difficulty? Reading this book will help you see that God is good all the time and can do "No Darkness At All" (1 John 1:5). Careful grammatical research is done in this book that will give you evidence to the face that there is a great difference between what God causes and what God permits. Each chapter in this work builds upon this evidence and will increase your faith in the goodness of God. 2

What the earth needed first was Light, darkness was on the face of the deep and God said; Let there be Light. Darkness took hold of the earth and it was formless, the same way eventualities and unwelcome circumstances can create a banner of darkness, over the family, life and ministry, but God says; Let there be Light. Light is what we need to avert any formless situation in our lives. Nobody likes or love darkness; I guess the wicked do, the murderer wants to murder in darkness, the thief wants to steal in darkness, and the destroyer wants to destroy in darkness. No matter how wicked forces wants to operate, we as the children of God must walk in the Light of God in order to destroy the works of darkness. No matter how thick darkness is, it cannot stand a spark of light; so let the little of yours shine. Darkness bows to light, and as you read this book you will be illuminated of the necessity of Light. This book is an instrument of spiritual growth and spiritual warfare tool. As you read, may the Holy Spirit guide and perfect you in His will in Jesus name.

A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? You might be crushed by shame over your mental illness, only to be told by well-meaning Christians to “choose joy” and “pray more.” So you beg God to take away the pain, but nothing eases the ache inside. As darkness lingers and color drains from your world, you’re left wondering if God has abandoned you. You just want a way out. But there’s hope. In I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die, Sarah J. Robinson offers a healthy, practical, and shame-free guide for Christians struggling with mental illness. With unflinching honesty, Sarah shares her story of battling depression and fighting to stay alive despite toxic theology that made her afraid to seek help outside the church. Pairing her own story with scriptural insights, mental health research, and simple practices, Sarah helps you reconnect with the God who is present in our deepest anguish and discover that you are worth everything it takes to get better. Beautifully written and full of hard-won wisdom, I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die offers a path toward a rich, hope-filled life in Christ, even when healing doesn’t look like what you expect.

LOS ANGELES TIMES BESTSELLER • The Blueprint for Overcoming Darkness and Living in God’s Light. Our world unravels more each day. It feels as if we’re drowning in a sea churning with greed, violence, and lust. As darkness advances, hope dims. Yet within that reality, God gives us a profound mandate... Be Light. Light has always defined God and his followers. At creation, God spoke light into existence. Jesus is the light of the world. And we are born to absorb and then reflect God’s light. In Be Light Samuel Rodriguez--described by Fox News and CNN as “America’s most influential Latino Evangelical leader”--provides a blueprint for confronting darkness in every realm of our lives. He issues a clarion call for individual believers and the church to rise up and once again be that bright city on a hill, which doesn’t simply expose the invading darkness, but overcomes it with God’s blazing light.
