Wenn dessen Fortsetzung nicht eher als heute, mehr als 20 Jahre spater, in die Offentlichkeit hinauszutreten beginnt, so sind daran grosse Schwierigkeiten schuld, die erst neuerdings, wenigstens in der Hauptsache, uberwunden werden konnten. Dazwischen verflossen lange Jahre der Unbill und der Schmach, wie sie sonst wohl nur selten ein vom Gluck begunstigter Forscher zu durchleben hatte.
