In dieser Hausarbeit erhalten Sie einen wissenschaftlichen Einblick in die Erlebnisp dagogik mit Pferden. Um in die Thematik einzusteigen, wird zun chst das Lebewesen Pferd und ihr geschichtlicher Verlauf n her beschrieben. Danach erfolgt ein Exkurs in die Verhaltensweisen und der Instinkte dieser Tiere. Im darauf folgenden Punkt erl utere ich das Pferd in Bezug zur Sozialen Arbeit. Dazu geh ren Gr nde, warum das Arbeiten mit Pferden in diesem Arbeitsfeld sinnvoll ist, die Entwicklung der P dagogik mit dem Pferd und die Voraussetzungen, die Teilnehmer und Pferde mitbringen sollten, um miteinander agieren zu k nnen. Im darauf folgenden Punkt wird die Erlebnisp dagogik mit Pferden in Zusammenhang mit den Methoden der sozialen Arbeit gebracht. Den Abschluss bildet die Beschreibung der von mir durchgef hrten Ferienfreizeit und die Schlussbetrachtung.

Welche positive Wirkung Pferde auf den Menschen haben können ist mir schon lange bewusst. Schon in meiner Reitschulzeit half ich regelmäßig einer Hippotherapeutin bei ihrer Arbeit. Seither habe ich mehrfach praktisch erlebt, was der Umgang mit Pferden bewirken kann. Ich selber mache seit ungefähr einem Jahr, mit zwei Mädchen ein Training sozialen Verhaltens bei meinen Pferden. Theoretisch beschäftige ich mich ebenfalls seit einiger Zeit mit den Einsatzmöglichkeiten und der Wirkungsweise von Pferden in der Pädagogik und Therapie. Durch das erlebnispädagogische Seminar stellte ich mir die Frage ob der Umgang mit dem Pferd nicht schon erlebnispädagogische Elemente beinhaltet und ob das Pferd nicht ein sinnvolles Medium für erlebnispädagogische Maßnahmen sein kann. Beginnen möchte ich die Hausarbeit im allgemeinen Teil, mit Definitionsversuchen der Begriffe Erlebnis, Pädagogik und schließlich der Erlebnispädagogik, um zu verdeutlichen was ich im Rahmen meiner Hausarbeit unter diesen Begriffen verstehe. Danach folgt ein Abriss der geschichtlichen Entwicklung, hin zur Erlebnispädagogik um schließlich zum heutigen Verständnis zu kommen. Dort werde ich das erlebnispädagogischen Säulenmodell erläutern, um zu klären wann es sich um erlebnispädagogische Maßnahmen handelt. Die bereits genutzten Medien der Erlebnispädagogik, die methodischen Prinzipien und übergeordnete Zielsetzungen werde ich dort ebenfalls kurz umreißen. Auslassen möchte ich die Lerndimensionen, sowie die verschiedenen Lernmodelle, da sie für die Fragestellungen meiner Arbeit von geringer Bedeutung sind. Abschließen werde ich den allgemeinen Teil, mit einer kurzen Erläuterung von Erlebnispädagogik und Erlebnistherapie. Im speziellen Teil möchte ich als erstes kurz darauf eingehen, wie das Pferd in der Therapie und Heilpädagogik genutzt wird und welche Stellung das Pferd als Medium, in erlebnispädagogischen Aktionen einnehmen kann. Mögliche Lernerfahrungen, die beim Umgang mit dem Pferd gefördert werden können, werde ich in Punkt sieben erläutern. Mögliche Lernerfahrungen und Wirkungsweisen, die ich zuvor beschrieben habe, beziehe ich danach konkret auf das heutige Verständnis von Erlebnispädagogik, um zu zeigen das es Erlebnispädagogik mit dem Pferd durchaus geben kann.
