Compliance Tools written by Marie–Anne Frison–Roche and has been published by Bruylant this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-06-14 with Law categories.

Compliance Law is defined by the Monumental Goals it pursues. Willingly or by force, companies must structure themselves and act to reach them. In a major and global transformation, they are thereby becoming transparent, making Compliance Tools visible. Emphasizing the unity of these Tools promotes a unified legal regime, while adapting them country by country, sector by sector, company by company. Understanding these Compliance Tools to anticipate the assessment made by Regulators, Supervisors and Courts, and the provisions of future texts, while companies are invited to invent new ones, is hopefully more appropriate. General perspectives through which risk maps, compliance programs, deals and judicial agreements, ad hoc training, algorithms, audits, sanctions, controls, whistleblowing, collective actions, etc. are scrutinized. Co-published with the Journal of Regulation & Compliance.

Competition Law Climate Change Environmental Sustainability written by Simon Holmes and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021 with Antitrust law categories.

The consensus is clear - climate change is the defining challenge of our time. Meeting this challenge requires a collaborative and inclusive response from all segments of society - including private businesses. What role then for competition law and policy? This important and timely book gathers academics, enforcers, economists, lawyers, and industry representatives to explore the applications and limitations of EU competition law in achieving environmental sustainability aims in line with the European Commission's Green Deal as well as the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. They identify the challenges of integrating environmental considerations into competition analysis presented by the existing framework, whether through cooperation by businesses, practices by dominant companies, or consideration of sustainability efficiencies in merger assessments. Practical examples across various sectors are also provided, alongside agency views from different jurisdictions, to illustrate how competition policy can facilitate a sustainable economy.

Instructional Models In Computer Based Learning Environments written by Sanne Dijkstra and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1992-12-14 with Computers categories.

In the last decade there have been rapid developments in the field of computer-based learning environments. A whole new generation of computer-based learning environments has appeared, requiring new approaches to design and development. One main feature of current systems is that they distinguish different knowledge bases that are assumed to be necessary to support learning processes. Current computer-based learning environments often require explicit representations of large bodies of knowledge, including knowledge of instruction. This book focuses on instructional models as explicit, potentially implementable representations of knowledge concerning one or more aspects of instruction. The book has three parts, relating to different aspects of the knowledge that should be made explicit in instructional models: knowledge of instructional planning, knowledge of instructional strategies, and knowledge of instructional control. The book is based on a NATO Advanced Research Workshop held at the University of Twente, The Netherlands in July 1991.

The Politics Of Criminology written by Stratos Georgoulas and has been published by LIT Verlag Münster this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012 with Criminology categories.

The issue of the politics of criminology is a significant theme in academic debate, policy implementation, and legal reform. Against administrative criminologists who have been criticized as "technicians of the State" or "apologists for criminal justice," functioning primarily to "manage" the consequences and conflict of structural inequalities in advanced democratic states, this book brings policy back to what it was, a sociological study of the entire social framework of the inequalities of power, wealth, and authority, which is the result of class relations of industrial society.
