Reed è stato autore di più di duecento fumetti e graphic novel, anche con diversi psedonimi (tra cui Kyle Garrett, Brent Truax e Randall Thayer ). Vincent Locke (disegni) è un fumettista americano che ha iniziato la sua carriera con Deadworld, fumeto diventato un cult negli anni ’90. Ha lavorato a numerosi comics importanti, tra cui The Sandman, American Freak, Batman, The Spectre, e A History of Violence, da cui poi è stato tratto il film diretto da David Cronenberg e interpretato da Viggo Mortensen. Locke è noto anche per aver creato le copertine degli album della band death metal Cannibal Corpse.
