In the aftermath of her divorce from a covert narcissist, the author realized that there were two components to what she experienced: the intellectual, and the spiritual. While intellectual awareness provided understanding, healing came through submission and surrender to Jesus. The reason why the Word of God is called the Sword of the Spirit is that it is the weapon that destroys evil in the spiritual realm. You also can move from understanding the traits and characteristics of covert narcissists to becoming strong and victorious in Christ. Jesus wants you. He wants you to find peace in His presence. He wants to restore you, heal you, and bless you more than you can ever fathom. Give Him permission, and use His Word. Page | 2

What do we all humans have in common? We are all incorrigible seekers of bliss or joy. Our minds are wired to be happy. At least that is what our modern scientific studies contend. Yet most of us know we are not joyful. In fact, we struggle most of time to be and stay happy. What has gone wrong? I have attempted to answer this question in this book. It has been my own journey to arrive at lasting happiness and joy. It builds on the informational, computational foundation of our universe developed in the first book of this series, Road to Digital Divine. It combines latest science of mind and matter with spirituality, putting forth a new concept of our self, the quantum self rooted in the informational nature of our being. Most of us are familiar with our physical self that we see in the mirror. It, however, does not define us completely. What is critical for us to know is our informational self. Knowing the true nature of this self and acting accordingly is essential for us humans to achieve good emotional health and realize lasting joy in our lives. In fact, not knowing or ignoring the messages from this essential nature of our self is the leading reason for suffering in our human society. I paint this self as a tale of three minds: emotional, rational, and cosmic. The three minds computationally synchronized lead to the birth of informational self. This self is a computationally astute structure. It computes using two modes of computation. Each of these modes lead to two extreme personalities. One, binary computation, which leads to a nature of self that courts “I, me, and mine” tendencies. I have called this as our binary self. And the other, quantum computation, which leads to a nature of self with “us, we, and ours” tendencies. I call this as our quantum self. Both these nature of self are quite familiar in today’s society. The binary information processing leads to egoic entity, which is present in most of us. It dominates today’s human society. It is responsible for incredible progress that humans have made as a surviving species, but it is also responsible for most of the sufferings that modern humans face today. The quantum self has saintlike nature. It feels love, empathy, and oneness with others. It is truthful and always stays in the company of divinity. It is responsible for widespread altruism in nature and in humans. With two selves of very different nature in one body, modern humans have learned the meaning of the word “suffering.” Which self will win? Which is our true self? Understanding of this fact is not trivial. In fact, it is nothing short of enlightenment as I explain how the understanding of our true self can lead one on to this path. It can make a profound change in one’s perspective. The joy pouring from deep within is at the root of this reality.

When is the pen mightier than the sword? The pen became my weapon of choice to battle against life. I have gone from one traumatic event to the next and I will admit I have reached the tower on more than one occasion. I am still here and throughout this book I would like to share my experiences, my thoughts and my actions also how contradictory it is that I have become the person that I am to this very day. Poetry is not a dying art, it just needs to be revived back into general society. People either as confident as they seem or they think they are, will at some point in their lives need reassurance, understanding, empathy, sympathy and most importantly, the love of another human being. We all need to know that no matter how bad things seem, keep hold because not all hope is not lost in life, but instead a mere hurdle in the way that will eventually be removed upon finding resolve. The introduction is actual factors of my life and the poetry I have wrote was my way of surviving.

Deep Within The Brain written by Helmut Dubiel and has been published by Penguin this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-10-27 with Health & Fitness categories.

At the age of forty-six, philosopher and university professor Helmut Dubiel was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. In the early stages of his sickness, fearing censure and ostracism, Dubiel did his utmost to conceal his condition. But when his symptoms became too obvious to camouflage, he was obliged to admit defeat and decided to undergo deep brain stimulation surgery. Following this operation, Dubiel found himself in possession of a peculiar power: with little more than the flick of a switch he was able to choose between a personality defined as irascible and maudlin and the lucid, quick-thinking academic he had always been. In this fascinating book, Dubiel describes the course of his illness with a philosopher's aplomb, ennobling his personal experience with intellectual flair and scientific insight as he makes connections between his own medical drama and some of today's most significant global tendencies. Above all,Deep Within the Brain describes a battle: the battle between the inclination to give up, to view oneself as dead to the world, and the force necessary to reinvent oneself and rise above one's illness. Devoid of self-pity, Dubiel vanquishes his illness by using it as a source of philosophical reflection on the twofold nature of modern medicine, the meaning of success and acceptance, and the true nature of that capricious creature we call "I".
