Fantascienza - rivista (52 pagine) - Sapete cos'è il cosypunk? Scoprite le peculiarità di questo nuovo filone della fantascienza. In principio era il cyberpunk, poi sono arrivati il postcyberpunk, lo steampunk, il dieselpunk e il nanopunk, ma ora c'è il cosypunk. Che cos'è? Un nuovo filone della fantascienza che possiamo definire in italiano come “accogliente”. Questo termine inglese può essere tradotto, infatti, come: confortevole, caldo, intimo e per l’appunto accogliente. Per estensione, lo si associa alla casa, a una sensazione di sicurezza e conforto, alla routine quotidiana, alle persone care, al cibo che ci piace. Le storie di questo genere della science fiction ci raccontano di persone semplici, non di eroi e superman di turno, pronti a salvare il mondo. E non ci sono neanche cattivi da fermare. Molto spesso quello che tiene in piedi i romanzi e i racconti cosypunk storie basate sul viaggio, sulla scoperta delle piccole gioie della vita ordinaria. Una delle autrici di punta di questo filone è l’americana Becky Chambers, di cui è uscito a gennaio su Urania il romanzo Un salmo per il robot (A Psalm for the Wild-Built, 2021), vincitore del premio Hugo e a questo romanzo e al cosypunk è dedicato lo speciale del numero 252 di Delos Science Fiction. I servizi di questo mese sono dedicati a Hunger Games, con un articolo di Alessandro Cosentino, ai rapporti tra fiction e sonno, con un intervento dello scrittore Antonino Fazio e alla saga I Principi Demoni di Jack Vance, con un intervento di Arturo Fabra. Ancora Fabra, firma l’editoriale dedicato al concetto di impero galattico. Nella sezione rubriche, invece, lo scrittore Andrea Cattaneo ci parla della saga La corazzata spaziale Yamato di Leiji Matsumoto, tra manga e anime, mentre Giuseppe Vatinno ci introduce al film Il mostro del pianeta perduto. Poi, vi presentiamo il nuovo romanzo di Jack McDevitt, uscito sul mercato anglosassone e da questo numero iniziano Le intervisti impossibili, una nuova rubrica in cui ci saranno delle interviste con grandi autori della fantascienza che non sono più di questo mondo, le cui risposte, però, sono vere loro dichiarazioni, così come le domande del curatore di Delos Science Fiction Carmine Treanni, ma com’è ovvio che sia tali chiacchierate sono nel loro complesso “impossibili”. In questo numero ad essere intervistato è Philip K. Dick. L’anteprima narrativa di questo mese è Il nostro seme inquieto di Giulia Abbate, racconto lungo uscito per Delos Digital nella collana Atlantis e il racconto è, invece, di Armando Staffa e ha per titolo Best seller. Rivista fondata da Silvio Sosio e diretta da Carmine Treanni.

This volume is the first systematic study of Seneca’s interaction with earlier literature of a variety of genres and traditions. It examines this interaction and engagement in his prose works, offering interpretative readings that are at once groundbreaking and stimulating to further study. Focusing on the Dialogues, the Naturales quaestiones, and the Moral Epistles, the volume includes multi- perspectival studies of Seneca’s interaction with all the great Latin epics (Lucretius, Vergil and Ovid), and discussions of how Seneca’s philosophical thought is informed by Hellenistic doxography, forensic rhetoric and declamation, the Homeric tradition, Euripidean tragedy and Greco-Roman mythology.
