Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Arbeit, Ausbildung, Organisation, Note: 1,7, Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die europäische Einigung ist seit einigen Jahrzehnten ein vielfältig diskutiertes Thema. In den letzten Jahren erlangte aber auch der Bologna-Prozess stets die Aufmerksamkeit von Wissenschaft, Politik und Öffentlichkeit. Mittlerweile wurden 87 % der Studiengänge an deutschen Hochschulen auf die Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss-Struktur umgestellt. Ferner zeigt sich der Fortschritt der europäischen Einigung zumal auch im Zuge des Bologna-Prozesses. Damit sollen Studiengänge geschaffen werden, die zum Beispiel international vergleichbar sind und somit u.a. ein internationales Studium vereinfachen oder den frühen und erfolgreichen Berufseinstieg in den europäischen Arbeitsmarkt ermöglichen. Zudem wird eine stärkere Interdisziplinarität der neuen Bachelor- und Masterabschlüsse angestrebt. Dass dies bislang nicht immer von Erfolg gekrönt war, zeigten beispielsweise die Studierenden- und SchülerInnen-Proteste 2009 in Deutschland und Österreich, welche die Umsetzung und die Folgen des Bologna-Prozesses scharf kritisierten. Im Rahmen dieser Ausarbeitung soll eine Erkenntnis darüber gewonnen werden, ob der Bologna-Prozess einen Beitrag zur Förderung der europäischen Einigung darstellt. Letztlich wird dieser Frage auf den Grund gegangen, indem sie aus der Sicht des Neofunktionalismus interpretiert wird.
