Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Beziehungen und Familie, Note: 1,3, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, Veranstaltung: Propädeutikum, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Forschungsfrage dieser Arbeit lautet: „Wird der Kinderwunsch von homosexuellen Paaren von der Gesellschaft toleriert und welche rechtlichen Möglichkeiten haben sie im 21. Jahrhundert in Deutschland?“ Die Jahreseinschränkung und Ortsbegrenzung wurden vorgenommen, da viele neue Gesetze seit dem Jahr 2000 in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in Kraft getreten sind, welche die Gleichberechtigung von homosexuellen Paaren als Zielsetzung haben. So ist es interessant, wie sich mit den neuen Gesetzgebungen und einer neuen Begrifflichkeit, die Toleranz zu dem Kinderwunsch von homosexuellen Partnern in der Gesellschaft wandelt und welche neuen Möglichkeiten ihnen zur Verfügung stehen. Die Begriffe „Toleranz“ und „tolerieren“ werden in dieser Arbeit definiert als eine „Bewegung von beiden Seiten, eine Aufeinandereinlassen von Heterosexuellen und Homosexuellen“. Die gesellschaftliche Relevanz dieser Arbeit liegt darin, dass Homosexualität in Deutschland kein Tabuthema mehr ist, aber es dennoch eine ablehnende Haltung gibt, wenn es zu der Frage kommt, ob homosexuelle Paare Kinder aufziehen sollen. Es gibt einige Möglichkeiten für homosexuelle Paare eine Familie zu gründen, jedoch haben sie mehr rechtliche Hürden zu bewältigen, als heterosexuelle Paare. Die wissenschaftliche Relevanz der Arbeit liegt darin, dass nicht nur die soziologischen, sondern auch rechtswissenschaftlichen Aspekte eine Rolle für das Thema der Arbeit spielen. Außerdem ist die Arbeit wissenschaftlich und gesellschaftlich relevant, da sie Probleme und Veränderungen in unserer Gesellschaft aufweist und aufzeigt, dass auch zukünftige Familienmodelle von der gleichen Problematik betroffen sind.
