Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2001 im Fachbereich Agrarwissenschaften, Note: 1,0, Hochschule Osnabrück (Agrarwissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Agrarpolitik II, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Milch stellt in Deutschland das Produkt in der Landwirtschaft dar, dass den größten Anteil an der Gesamtproduktion der Landwirtschaft hat. So nahm der Milchsektor im Wirtschaftsjahr 1999/2000 mehr als 20 % der gesamten deutschen Agrarproduktion ein. (BML 2001) Da die Bedeutung der Milch für die deutsche Landwirtschaft so enorm ist, soll in diesem Referat die aktuelle Situation auf dem Milchmarkt und den Märkten für Milchprodukte aufgezeigt werden. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass es in der heutigen Zeit unmöglich ist, den deutschen Markt isoliert zu betrachten, da dieser maßgeblich von Entscheidungen auf EU-Ebene, anderen EU-Märkten und dem Weltmarkt abhängt, sollen auch diese Märkte beleuchtet werden und die möglichen Auswirkungen supranationaler Beschlüsse (Agenda 2000, WTO) kurz dargestellt werden. Im Anschluss daran werden kurz die Eckwerte der Milchproduktion einiger EUAnwärterstaaten Osteuropas aufgeführt und am Beispiel Polens, das über die größte Milchproduktion dieser Länder verfügt, werden zudem einige Probleme, die der zukünftige Beitritt schon jetzt mit sich bringt, erläutert. Als nächstes wird ein allgemeiner Ausblick in die Zukunft präsentiert, der die Auswirkungen supranationaler Beschlüsse und die kurzfristigen Auswirkungen der Maulund Klauenseuche, für die deutsche Landwirtschaft, aufzeigen soll. Abschließend wird ein kurzes Fazit gezogen. Am Ende jeder Marktbeschreibung wird ein kurzer Ausblick auf die Entwicklung in der nächsten Zeit offeriert. Der allgemeine Ausblick befasst sich daher nur mit langfristigen Trends, bei denen die aktuelle Problematik mit den Unsicherheitsfaktoren BSE und MKS noch nicht berücksichtigt wird.
