Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Gattungen, Note: 2,6, Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (Germanistik), Veranstaltung: Abschlussarbeit, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die journalistische Darstellungsform der Reportage stellt eine der interessantesten dar. Durch sie scheint sowohl der Autor als auch der Leser direkt am Geschehen beteiligt. Jemand, der im Zusammenhang mit der Reportage besonders oft genannt wird, ist Egon Erwin Kisch. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird ein genauerer Blick auf diesen Autor, sein Schaffen und seine Prägung der Gattung ‚Reportage‘ geworfen. Dazu sind anfangs die Merkmale einer ‚klassischen‘ Reportage, wie sie als journalistische Darstellungsform allgemein definiert werden kann, bestimmt. Weiterhin folgt ein kurzer Abriss über Kisch ́s Leben, um seine Persönlichkeit und verschiedene Stationen jenes bestimmen zu können. Diese wirken sich direkt auf seine Arbeit aus und bieten deshalb eine Grundlage zur thematischen Einordnung seiner Reportagen. Im Hauptteil der Arbeit werden die Reportagetheorien Egon Erwin Kischs erläutert. Hiervon gibt es drei, welche er auch im Bezug auf seine eigenen Reportagen aufgestellt hat. Für ihre zeitliche Einordnung in das Schaffen des Autors, wird sich nach der Darstellung Christian Siegels gerichtet, da sie biografisch nachvollziehbar ist. Er teilt das Schreiben Kischs in die Jahre 1918 bis 1925, 1926 bis 1932 und 1933 bis 1947. Zu jeder der erwähnten Theorien folgen zwei Reportagen. Diese werden nach deren Merkmalen analysiert. So wird „Echtestes Berlin W“, erschienen am 22.01.1922, und „Das ist ein Leben“, veröffentlicht im April 1924 angeführt, welche in die erste Schaffensperiode eingeordnet werden können. Es folgen, stellvertretend für die zweite Phase, „Berlin bei der Arbeit“ (26.06.1927), und „Hollywood ohne Schminke“ (1929). Bezugnehmend auf den dritten Zeitraum des Wirkens, wird auf „Drei Viertel des Vierjahresplanes“, (1.02.1936), und „Mord, Mord und Wiederum Mord, zehn Jahre lang“ (1943) geblickt. Besonders betrachtet werden hierbei die Tendenzlosigkeit der Reportagen und die Anschauung in der Darstellung. Abschließend wird sich mit der Diskussion um die Literarizität der Reportagen Kischs beschäftigt. Hierbei geht es um die Frage, ob die Reportage tatsächlich nur eine journalistische Darstellungsform sei oder auch zu den literarischen zählen kann.
