Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Linguistik, Note: 2, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Sprache war seit jeher konkreter Ausdruck und Spiegelbild ihrer Zeit. Wie Zeiten und Völker sich verändern, so verändern sich auch ihre Sprachen. Somit gibt es Sprachwandel in allen Sprachen, zu allen Zeiten und in allen Bereichen - von der Phonologie bis hin zur Lexikologie und Wortbildung. Der siebzehnte hieß vor zwölfhundert Jahren noch sibuntozehanto. Und das heute bei den Jugendlichen so beliebte Wörtchen geil gab es bereits im Mittelhochdeutschen; aber damals bedeutete es soviel wie "fröhlich". Der Wandel innerhalb der Wortbildung so unter anderem bei verbalen Kompositionen ist Gegenstand dieser Arbeit. In dieser Seminararbeit werde ich versuchen auf die Komposition als Mittel der Wortbildung, Entstehung und Zweck der Bildung der verbalen Zusammensetzungen einzugehen und sie anhand von Beispielen zu erläutern. Die Komposition als Zusammenfügung von Wörtern zu einer komplexen Worteinheit, zu einem Kompositum, lässt sich je nach zugrunde liegendem Wort in nominale und verbale Komposition unterteilen. Der Wandel der verbalen Komposita von Althochdeutsch in Neuhochdeutsch systematisch zu beschreiben, ist in dem hier gesteckten Rahmen nicht möglich. Es können lediglich einige Aspekte dieser Bereiche anhand ausgewählter Beispiele verdeutlicht werden. So werde ich mich im folgenden auf einen der wichtigsten Etappen der Bildung vom ahd. über mhd. zu nhd. und Wandel der verbalen Komposita konzentrieren, zum anderen einzelne Wörter hinsichtlich ihres Bedeutungswandels erläutern. Als Basis für diese Seminararbeit liegen hauptsächlich die wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten von Henzen (1965), Gerdes (1972) und Splett (2000) zu Grunde.
