Oder es gibt solche, die die deutsche Sprache lernen, damit sie in Österreich oder in der Schweiz leben oder arbeiten könnten. Das heißt, man sollte deshalb von der Vorstellung Abschied nehmen, dass es nur Themen aus Deutschland in den DaF-Lehrwerken geben sollte. Deshalb ist der Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit die Frage, was man unter dem DACH(L)-Konzept im DaF-Unterricht versteht beziehungsweise welche Rolle das DACH(L)-Konzept im DaF-Unterricht spielt. Aus dieser Frage ergibt sich die zweite wichtige Frage, die untersucht wird: Ist das DACH(L)-Konzept in den aktuellen DaF-Lehrwerken für Erwachsene vetreten? Das Ziel der Arbeit ist, einen Überblik über diesen landeskundlichen Ansatz, der als wichtiger Ansatz im DaF-Unterricht betrachtet werden sollte, zu geben. D.h., aufgrund der Fragestellung bzw. der Problematik gliedert sich die Arbeit in zwei Teile: 1. Theoretische Grundlagen (Die ABCD-Thesen zur Rolle der Landeskunde im Deutschunterricht und das DACH(L)-Konzept im Deutschunterricht werden diskutiert.) 2. Die Überprüfung der Vetretung des DACH(L)-Konzepts in den aktuellen DaF-Lehrwerken für Erwachsene. Es werden drei aktuelle DaF-Lehrwerke analysiert und dabei wird untersucht, ob das Lehrwerk dem DACH(L)-Konzept entspricht.
