Los jóvenes atletas texanos entregaron la “llama perenne”, en la frontera texana por Laredo a los deportistas poblanos que ya la esperaban, y estos, la fueron pasando hasta entroncar con la nueva autopista México- Puebla, inaugurada ex profeso en la conmemoración citada.
